"Close walk to everything"

"Had to either walk up or down to get anywhere. But that’s Gjirokaster!"

"Big apartment for a couple, well furnished with air conditioning in the bedroom. Very nice owner who offered us a change of towels half way through our stay (5 nights). Walkable distance to the city centre. Plenty of car park on the street. Also walkable distance to local run restaurants with great food such as Taverna Laberia, local cheap fast food at Pizza 'N' Burger Wide, and local supermarket, Top Market."

"Even though it is walkable distance from the city centre and the main touristic attractions, it is a steep walk. The apartment is on the ground floor and it doesn't get much light, which might make it cold to stay in it all day."

"Everything was super clean=. It's a full apartment with all the kitchen and bathroom appliances. I loved the little gestures like the vanilla smell, coffee and tea that were available. It's in a good location. You have to climb the slope but hey, you have to climb all across Gjirokaster. I'd definitely stay here again if I were to visit Gjirokaster."

"The communication with Sophia and Anila to help us find the apartment and get settled was great. The apartment was very clean and well equipped, could easily have stayed for longer! Short walk up hill to the bazaar and to nearby shops and restaurants. Perfect place for a short stay in Gjirokaster"

"The garden and homemade dishes were absolutely amazing. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the house, surrounded by trees, playful cats, and an overall positive vibe. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, and I even found sunscreen in the bathroom, it truly feels like the hosts care about every detail of our comfort."

"Great location for exploring the city. We had a terrible experience at the Balkan Crest hotel and booked this very late at night last minute to transfer to and were immediately contacted by the host with details for how to find the apartment and we were so pleased because it was such a comfortable stay. You do have to walk up 5 flights of stairs which was fine for us, although the entrance to the apartment from the street looks a little rough, you wouldn’t know once you’re inside. Everything felt new and it has everything we needed. The washer and dryer was a godsend. Would definitely recommend"

"We stayed at Cako rooms during our holidays in Sarande and it was a real pleasure, the team is exceptional and absolutely kind! The rooms are perfect and absolutely clean. The hotel has a bar/restaurant that is delicious and not expensive. To prove their kindness, we did not find taxis for our return to the port of Sarande the manager dropped us off at the port without the slightest return, the kindness of his people is really exceptional. If we were to come back for a stay in Albania we will resume a stay at the cako rooms without the slightest hesitation. Thank you very much."
