"Great location. Just few minutes away walking to the beach and good restaurants. The apartment is clean, tidy and more spacious than seen in the pictures. There was storm Benjamin when we were there! Hence we couldn't go far. But it was my husband's birthday, so we wouldn't just stay inside. So I booked the Noordzee restaurant just literally across the apartment. (6-7m away), and we had a fantastic dinner! Joost & Nicolette are good hosts and responsive"

The bed is a bit too soft to our liking. And thankfully we're at the 1st floor so we didn't need to climb the steep stairs too much.

"The room was large and comfortable. The beds were excellent, and the cleaning staff was amazing. The views from our room were great, overlooking Suva harbour. The location was central but a bit steep for us."

We are seniors, so walking up to the hotel was hard. The internet was not up to scratch, but all in all, I actually liked the place.

Construction works are going on in the area and at the hotel in winter. Theh hamman, spa and bar and restaurant are all closed in winter too - all understandable and no huge deal and there's plenty in the area open all the time.

"It was such a warm and inviting home. The staff were amazing communicators, making everything easy from start to finish. I had a small mishap where I broke a door handle, but the staff were so skilled and quick to resolve it that I felt completely at ease. I felt genuinely cared for as they frequently checked to see if I needed anything. If you are looking for a place near the main tour pickup locations, stay here. "The apartment was stocked with many basic food items: Bread, butter, margarine, tea, instant coffee, salt, pepper, sugar, juice, milk, coke, and snacks, to the best of my memory. This was essential because we arrived at 3:00 AM and had to be ready for a tour at 6:00 AM. Also, some of that is expensive to buy when you must leave it behind if you are only there a few days. We liked that there was a security guard there and the building and area felt safe. Laundry facilities."
