"Very comfortable sleeping room, big kitchen and dining room area. Everything you need regarding cleaning, washing and household. Within 15 minutes of walking you can get directly to the city center and the harbour. The town park is within a 5 minute walk. Marna is a very friendly and humorous person as well. So everything was awesome!"

"Location was fabulous, just down the road from the Presidential Palace although the road is a little unkempt. An easy walk into the town for restaurants and the main market centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great outside relaxing bar / restaurant."

Taxis do not like to drive to the Hotel as the road is not great and has some big ruts at the town end, leaving you with the choice of a short walk or paying more. It's about a 400 yard walk and not hard or dangerous.

"It's located in a very nice place. 5-10 minutes from the beach, close to supermarket and restaurant. The hotel has very nice territory. The room is cosy and quite comfortable. It was very quiet, because we were at the end of the season and there were almost no people there. Very nice terrace. But you need to have something against mosquitoes (we bought in supermarket candles with citrone, which cost nothing and work very well)."

I was reading negative reviews about showers, but when I got there for the first time, I had almost claustrophobia, but to be honest, I also had worse. The water is hot and with strong flowing, so it's not so bad. I don't understand why we got so a lot of keys, special that half of them you don't use. Also, the kitchen has a very basic thing, but it was no sponge for washing dishes, only one knife, no grinder for cheese, and no vine glasses. Ventilation in the kitchen doesn't work. In the room was cold, while outside was warm, which would be nice in summer, but we were in October. So i was always cold inside in the evening and night. But you can't keep everything open, otherwise you will have a lot of mosquitoes. Also, the bed for me was not so comfortable. When my husband was moving, I almost had seasickness. The hotel has they own "parking", but to get there you need to go through some dump, you should to be very careful there, and sign for this place very small so easy to miss it, when just arrived.

"좋은 가격에 위치가 좋습니다. 우리는 실수로 열쇠를 방안에 두고 나왔는데 퇴근한 직원분의 빠른 대처로 해결 할 수 있었습니다. 정말 감사했습니다. 얼리 체크인을 해주었고 체크아웃 후에도 짐을 맡길 수 있었습니다. 사진보다 실제로 보는 모습이 훨씬 예쁘고 멋집니다."

방2개 있는 곳에 머물렀는데 작은방에서 노랫소리가 들려왔습니다. 늦은 밤까지 근처 술집에서 들려오는 소리였어요. 우리는 여행으로 피로한 상태여서 큰 문제는 되지 않았지만 예민한 사람이라면 고민할 필요가 있어보입니다.

Breakfast is included in the price, including an omelet, salad, bread, and tea/coffee. Supermarkets and restaurants are within walking distance."

The hotel is a bit tired and its age is evident. Our room also lacked a desk, forcing us to go down to reception to work on our laptop. After preparing a hot meal, we were forced to eat sitting on the bed, which was quite uncomfortable. But all these downsides are outweighed by the more significant advantages described above.

"Beautiful territory, nice stuff, excellent location, proximity to the beach. Absolutely beautiful place to stay close to the old port, very convenient for the kids to swim. A bit outside of the city and I loved it! Walking distance to the kite beach or shell cemetery. Enjoyed to be surrounded by so many flowers on the territory. Definitely good value for the money. Book in advance!"

The kids bed wasn’t really comfortable and was somehow uneven.

"Pristine; large, pleasantly decorated rooms; hot and cold water on each floor and coffee at reception; beautiful view out the back of the mountains. Set in a very pleasant square with a number of good restaurants, well-located for the historic centre and the destinations up the valley. 30 minute pleasant walk to the cable car."

A little difficult to locate initially

"Great location. Just few minutes away walking to the beach and good restaurants. The apartment is clean, tidy and more spacious than seen in the pictures. There was storm Benjamin when we were there! Hence we couldn't go far. But it was my husband's birthday, so we wouldn't just stay inside. So I booked the Noordzee restaurant just literally across the apartment. (6-7m away), and we had a fantastic dinner! Joost & Nicolette are good hosts and responsive"

The bed is a bit too soft to our liking. And thankfully we're at the 1st floor so we didn't need to climb the steep stairs too much.

"숙소가 조금 낡은 아파트의 느낌이었지만, 아주 깨끗하게 관리되어 있었으며, 간단한 식기까지 포함되어 있어 사용하기에 편했다. 세탁기가 있어 편했고 세제까지 준비가 되어 있었다. 또한, 청소, 관리도 정기적으로 진행해주었다. MTR역에서는 다소 걸어야하는 편이지만 주변 설비도 괜찮았다."

"We were arriving late (11pm) by the ferry, James the manager has proactively sent a taxi to pick us which was super helpful (don’t try to walk up that hill at night, especially not with luggage!). While the Inn is definitely a budget option, it was all good and the views from the common area terrace in the morning were nice."

we arrived 6.15am but couldnt check-in until.2pm which was extremely annoying especially coming off a 5 hour flight to be told we had to wait till 2pm to check in because our room was not ready. I understand this but I requested for an early check in at the time of booking but unfortunately they ignored our request. Imagine coming off a 5 hour flight, doing laps around the island then having to sleep in your hire car because they wouldnt let you check in before 2pm. Extremely frustrating hence the low rating. other than that ace was very nice.

Got off to a bad start. The accommodation is entered by using a door code. This was not conveyed to me in the correspondence with the owner prior to my visit. When I arrived at the property I could not get access. I phoned the telephone numbers on the main door, not answered so left a message, and did the same using the tel no on the confirmation note I`d copied from the online website & brought with me. After 30 minutes I`d received no response to either voice mail so left a strongly worded message. That got a response ! And from a 3rd tel no not quoted on the door or on their website ! I was told a message had been emailed to me the night before with details of the code needed to enter. As I`d been travelling around Dorset and Hants for 4 days I had not been at home and able to view my computer messages. Also the supposed text message sent to my mobile phone was never received. After finally accessing the property I found the room to be OK, no more than that. Plug in the hand basin had no chain so when in the plughole it was difficult to extract. The door on the wardrobe had a broken catch so did not open/close properly. I understand that the owners have recently taken over the property so I am reluctant to criticise but bearing in mind I had paid up front weeks before arriving I deserved better service and communication. There are many other accommodations in Bournemouth at the same price or cheaper that I have stayed at. I was unlucky in my choice this time. And it will be my last time here.

"The ideal spot for Cavtat! Perfect for relaxing and for everything else! The hosts were amazing! Nick, Anne Marie and there family were so kind and generous. We stayed two days extra and it felt like home! With sun and a refreshing pool to keep cool."
