"We liked everything! This can not be described by words. One must come and see the exceptionally beautiful nature of Mariovo, this village Zovich and the nearby village Staravina. The accomodation offered everything we needed, the host Mitko, his wife and mother were very friendly and helpful, they make extraordinary food in their restaurant, all fresh and of high quality. We will be back again!"

La sig.ra Gina incarna l'ospitalità e l'accoglienza che ogni ospite desidera ricevere; empatica e mai invadente, generosa nel donarsi, attenta e cordiale. Camere, ambienti comuni interni e giardino sono molto curati, la pulizia impeccabile. Io sono vegana e a colazione mi sono sentita più che accolta. "We had a very comfortable and quiet 2 week stay in the Sunset Room. The entire cottage is beautiful and immaculately kept by Demi. We had everything we needed to cook at home but also enjoyed many meals out at local restaurants. Our morning coffee on the balcony before our daily walks on Shoal Bay beach (5 min drive away) were a great way to start each day. Use of the laundry facilities was much appreciated. Hot shower, quality towels, linens and bath products. Demi was very helpful with recommendations. The location was great as we had a car to explore the island. Nothing in Anguilla is far. We loved everything about the island and would highly recommend any of the rooms at The Hidden Cottage."

"Exceptionnel !! Franchement rien à dire du côté de l'appartement. Tout était propre, le linge de lit, les serviettes. Un grand bravo. On a pu profiter du balcon pour le petit déjeuner, vraiment super!! 👍"

Seul petit bémol, pas du tout de commerce à proximité. Et si en plus vous n'êtes pas véhiculé sachez qu'il n'y a pas de bus en bas de la résidence où même quelques pas plus loin. Pour le premier jour, le papa du propriétaire qui était véhiculé nous a emmener jusqu'à une supérette. Un grand merci pour ce Monsieur. Qu'Allah le récompense pour son aide si précieuse. Le deuxième jour, pour le pain et viennoiseries, j'ai pris mon courage à deux mains. Heureusement, je suis une bonne randonneuse ce qui.n'est pas le cas de ma fille qui est restée bien tranquillement à m'attendre. La veinarde !! Malgré ce petit inconvénient, j'ai passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement que je RECOMMANDE VIVEMENT pour les marcheurs.

"The unit was very very clean. We were close to the beach. Walking distance. Beach towels , chairs and umbrella were available. There was a beach bar right on the beach that we ate at. We did not rent a car. We used M&M taxi while we were there. Awesome service. We also ate at Miss B. Another spot on the beach front. We enjoyed our time. Thank you. We were a party of three. Wifi was able to handle all your streaming needs."

No good option to walk to beach as main road is busy and no bike lane. Small windows don’t let one feel/see the nice area/surrounding.

"On arrival 'Grandad' greeted us with a smile and a cup of 'ginger tea' 😊 The location is peaceful and on the edge of the forest. Only 15mins walking to seven eleven, shops, etc. The room was comfy and clean. Good value too. Bed was super comfy soft to firm! Easy to safely store our bicycles 🚴🚴 A great place to visit and Grandad may also show you around his collection of antiques. HIGHLY recommended 👌"

"Very cozy place owned by an incredibly friendly and welcoming family. Breakfast was included in the price and it was always absolutely delicious — thanks to them, I had the chance to try several traditional Sri Lankan dishes I wouldn’t have discovered on my own. Whenever I needed anything, they were quick to help and always took care of everything with a smile. Their hospitality truly made my stay feel special and comfortable. Thank you once again for such a warm and memorable experience!"

The place is located a bit farther from the main areas, so you’ll need to walk a few kilometers, take a tuk-tuk, or have your own vehicle. However, there is a small convenience shop right next to the accommodation, which is handy if you need anything. If you’re sensitive to noise at night, it might be an issue — though that’s quite common for most hostels and village houses in Sri Lanka.
