"The room was very big, the pool was great and the food was delicious"

"It is a bit far from the "nicer" beach - Payne Bay is about 25 minutes walking distance. If you don't have a car, that's a bit far."

"The lovely staff, always going out of their way to help. Really liked the cabanas, the nice room overlooking the gardens and pool. The restaurant served good food too."

"If there was a coffee machine in the room- (we did as in the beginning), and then we asked for one again two days before the end! Also a freestanding tall fan in the gym would be nice. Monday lunchtimes would be great to have some bar snacks- but no biggie, as the food is great otherwise. We never used the shuttle service, but bike hire would be amazing."

"There wasn’t one thing we didn’t like about our stay here. Would definitely return here if back in Barbados. Even although full and high season the place was quiet with no rush for loungers. It was central for restaurants and the big supermarket is about a 15 min walk away. A small beach a 10 min walk away was sublime. No one was ever on it. The reception staff should get a special mention for the friendliness and helpfulness. ."

"The space in the rooms were great. The proximity to the quiet beach and the resort do not feel busy despite being full."

"WIFI was very hit and miss, especially compared to other resorts. Only offering Asian food (one night offering a BBQ) this restricted us eating in the restaurant. Would benefit from a more themed BBQ party to get all residents to engage."

"Second time of staying here. The gardens and pool area are lovely and peaceful. Our little bungalow had everything we needed. Short walk to shops, restaurants and beaches. The bar is much improved from last year. Easy to get around the island on the reggae bus. Holetown, in my opinion, is one of the best areas on the island."
