"First, the first contact with this guest house is to see in the main entrance a lot of beautiful green plants with a big sign « welcome ». Then a nice decoration on the walls the women pick the leaves of tea in the tea hills, a very cozy living room with local objets, lamps, plants. Inside is like a museum the Bangali culture. Second, at the reception, Ashik’s manager helps you for a tour, ticket train, bus or any questions you have. So, Ashik and his staff Prosanto and Rupak very professional, friendly and good communication. There a good value for money, good localisation, good room services : in the room all is get ready a spray for mosquetos, a bottle of water, wifi and sheet, pillow, blanket are clean also washroom. Tourist people no hesitate to go to this guest house to spend a good time. Ashik’ manager and his staff Prosanto and Rupak welcome you. I’ll keep in my memory this stay was well."

"Friendly and helpful Manager. He even treated us to a Bengali breakfast which was a really authentic and nice experience. The guesthouse is more like a hostel than a hotel with areas for socialising outside the rooms. The rooms are pretty basic but ideal for budget conscious travellers. We chose to stay here to be close to transport links (i.e. train station and bus depot) both of which are within walking distance."

"Great design and arty feel to the place. Staff very easy going and friendly. Let me stay extra 2 nights and pay at the end. Nice common area to sit and chat to fellow travellers - in 2 weeks at 6 different places, this is the only one that I even saw other travellers. Lots of good and cheap places to eat in 5 minutes walk. Be aware the doors are locked at 11!"

"No hot water shower but this was common and for the amazing price, it's not something to complain about. I think they might get you bucket of hot water if you ask. There was a problem with the bill at the end. I really don't think it was deliberate, there are so many staff, I'm not sure they all totally know what they're doing! We had to go through it several times to get it right. Just maybe something you need to be aware of and not take it as correct when you get the bill."
