"Little gold mine of a hotel in a really great location to explore the city. The stay was super cheap for the amazing quality of rooms and staff. I went there in winter so maybe it's not the same year round, but unlike Mons, there was a free parking lot close by. Also located right next to a big wholesale grocery store (Colruyt) and water park (Le Point d'Eau)"

"We were a bit early, but the host rushed over to let us in and give us the key. This took about 20 minutes. She kindly told us about where to park and what to do in Ieper. Her best tip was to visit the website of the Menenpoort memorial services, which shows which groups come for the service, and every night is different. The apartment is super close to the event and to the market, the museum, and many lovely eat and drink places."
