Golden Lion

"Very friendly, very atmospheric, very comfortable after a long day of travelling. Easy parking."

"The shower was or hot or cold. You’ll manage with a little tweaking."

"An authentic hotel in the city center, just a 2-minute walk from the waterfront. Interesting interior, an old building with its own unique atmosphere. Communication with the owner beforehand was easy and constructive — they respond quickly."

"Late check-in (after 9 PM) costs €15. Not exactly a downside, but it does come at an extra charge. I missed having a towel or a bath mat for the floor in the bathroom, and it took quite a while to adjust the water temperature."

"Stayed for a one night stopover on a motorcycle tour. Plenty of public parking available outside for the bike. The room was great with access via a winding wooden staircase, but not a problem unless you're very unhealthy. Great facilities nearby and within walking distance of the local castle"

"Lovely, unique accommodation. Great location and good value for money. The owners were really flexible and responsive as I had booked the week before but couldn’t make it because of the train strikes so it was moved with no problems. Room was a good size and nicely presented. Breakfast ok the morning was very substantial and delivered to the room."

"Comfy bed, nice and warm people that stayed up late to have me over. Very cozy house turned into b&b. Lots of little details that make it a real eye treat to stay at. Loved the Christmas decorations too."

"There were some spider webs and the shower went from cold to warm and vice versa whilst I used it."

"Charming place a little bit out of the ordinære! But that is what travel is all about !"

"Nothing ! The place brought a smile to my face ! Ans the village is beautiful ! A hidden perle!"

"Great place to combine business travel with enjoying nature and history."

"The B&B is in the ancient building which has its limitations. It is worth checking in advance if all settings and amenities fit into guests requirements or expectations..."

"Perfect for business travel, very quiet at night. Its a small artisan B&B place so no corporate hotel features should be expected."

"Stains are too narrow. But its an old historic building"

"The hotel is strategically placed in the city centre and fits in respectfully. The hotel is charming, room was clean, water in shower hot. There is free parking place just in front of the hotel."
