"We traveled on our bicycles and Highland lodge was the perfect stop between Afriski and Mokhontlong. Rooms were very large and so clean. Bed was very large and comfy. Staff was nice, friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend 👌🏼"

We would have enjoyed a desert after our dinner but it was not so important.

"Location is ok, 10 minutes walk to Somerset MRT station. Cleanness was ok, not spotted but acceptable. Air conditioning worked well. As the cheapest private room with private bathroom in the whole city this place is worth its price. Good contact with owner via whatsapp. I would come back."

The owner does not treat this place like a hotel, so for example, toilet paper is replaced by the guests themselves.

"아침 저녁 식사는 너무 맛있었습니다. 라울 아저씨에게 부탁하면 집에 있는 오래된 교회 설명을 해주십니다. 시간이 지나 정확하진 않지만 9세기에 지어진 교회라고 하셨던 거 같습니다. 밥을 먹는 곳도 굉장히 오래전에 지어진 건축물로 멋있습니다. 숙소에 요청하면 체크아웃날 택시도 잡아주십니다. (가격이 합리적입니다, 우쉬굴리랑 찰라디 빙하까지 가주셨어요!)"

화장실이 하나라서 조금 아쉬웠지만 뜨거운 물은 잘 나왔습니다. 위치가... 라울 아저씨가 짧은 길로 오라고 사진을 보내주시지만 길이 굉장히 험하고 다듬어지지 않은 길입니다. 혹시나 혼자라면 맵스미가 안내해주는데로 가는 것이 좋을 것 같습니다.

화장실이 조금 협소하지만 큰 문제는 아니었습니다. 아시아인이시라면 동네 아이들과 주민들의 환대에 당황 하실수도 있습니다.😅
