"My second time staying at the wonderful St. James Guesthouse. Returned back after 3 years, and it was even more wonderful than what I remembered. The owner along with all of the employees are absolutely lovely. You truly feel at home with a lovely family like atmosphere. The rooms are authentic and have exactly what you need. Enjoyed having Netflix on the TV along with Aircondition in the room. Breakfast was delicious with great additional options you pay a cheap price for. Location is the best in Roseau, next to a car rental, walkable distance to everything (Ferry terminal, Markets, Restaurants/bars, Local busses to Portsmouth or Trafalgar). Cannot recommend this place and the employees enough. One of the many gems in Dominica! Thanks to the team once again 🙏"

"Amazing place! Spotless room with a balcony and a truly breathtaking view. Delicious breakfasts every day. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful, always happy to assist and organize activities. Kayaks available for guests. The bay is just a short walk away, making the location perfect. Absolutely loved our stay — highly recommended!"

"Our room faced the water. Great view. The room is spacious and comfortable. We stayed in a room before we rented the full house with a group of friends. Despite it being 5 rooms, sharing one bathroom, it never felt crowded. Good value for an otherwise expensive travel destination. The bus stop is right by the house and there was always available public parking."

It was great ro have kettle in the room too. Place is very clean. My stay in Marsaxlokk was planned last minute but I really enjoyed 3 night spent in Fisherman's Cove Guesthouse."

"Steve & Geri are terrific hosts, and the kind of people you want to meet when you’re travelling. They were very welcoming and accommodating, and fun to talk to. The B&B location is both convenient for arrivals, and well-placed for a walk along the southern coast beaches. The decor of the room is also well-suited to provide character. Enjoyed the breakfast."

"아침 저녁 식사는 너무 맛있었습니다. 라울 아저씨에게 부탁하면 집에 있는 오래된 교회 설명을 해주십니다. 시간이 지나 정확하진 않지만 9세기에 지어진 교회라고 하셨던 거 같습니다. 밥을 먹는 곳도 굉장히 오래전에 지어진 건축물로 멋있습니다. 숙소에 요청하면 체크아웃날 택시도 잡아주십니다. (가격이 합리적입니다, 우쉬굴리랑 찰라디 빙하까지 가주셨어요!)"

화장실이 하나라서 조금 아쉬웠지만 뜨거운 물은 잘 나왔습니다. 위치가... 라울 아저씨가 짧은 길로 오라고 사진을 보내주시지만 길이 굉장히 험하고 다듬어지지 않은 길입니다. 혹시나 혼자라면 맵스미가 안내해주는데로 가는 것이 좋을 것 같습니다.

"I have visited many hotels and villas and I must say this was the most cleanest place I have ever been! The hoast was very warm and welcoming, the room was very clean and warm. I will deffinitely say that it is well located and very close to the sea."

"The fales are super nice with ocean view and were clean and well maintained. The family was so great and the food amazing. Bathroom was also ok. Snorkelling was good too, close to the beach you can see many small colorful fish. Another guest even saw a small (harmless if you leave him in peace) reef shark outside at the very edge of the reef. Easy access to eg ocean trench which is worth a visit. It felt like coming home and paradise"

"버스터미널과 곤돌라 탑승장에서 조금떨어져 있지만 걸어가기에 큰 무리가 없었으며 렘페스트레켄 전망대로 걸어올라가는(또는 곤돌라에서 내려올 때) 들머리에서 아주 가깝다. 시설이 전체적으로 좀 낡은 듯 했으나 주인이 같은 건물에 살면서 틈틈히 관리를 하는듯 화장실과 주방이 깨끗하게 유지 되고 있었다."

숙소에 간판이 붙어 있지 않아서 처음 찾아가는데 헷갈렸으며 체크인 과정에서 주인이 노르웨이어로 메시지를 보내 번역기를 돌린 후에야 원활하게 체크인을 할 수 있었다.

"Rose and the rest of the staff - they couldn’t do more to help and to make our stay the best! The place is in lovely old-style buildings with beautifully furnished rooms in a peaceful location. We loved the short cycle on complementary bikes to West Bay for the sunsets."

It is a bit out of the town but ok if you have a car. If there are many guests you will have to queue to use the shower room and toilet as it is a shared Barth room property.
