"Incredible location near the beach and close to the shop. Beautiful large garden and extremely well equipped kitchen. And we loved the cat and the dogs and chickens in the garden. Lots of towels were a real luxury. Lovely comfy beds 😀 and very handy having the top loading washing machine. It felt like a home rather than just a holiday place and was much bigger than we expected from the photos and description on Booking.com"

"A sign to the villa would have been really helpful and check in instructions before arriving. The safe didn't work and It needs a lock on the bathroom door please 🙂 Wifi and air con would be amazing, we appreciate its expensive and wifi is elusive on the island. Maybe more fans would help in the absence of air con . The TV didn't work unfortunately even on one channel. A paddle board would have been incredible!"

"Great location with amazing snorkeling right in front and beautiful quiet beach. House being set back a little from the beach turned out good as it was sheltered from the cool wind. Very clean, comfortable and spacious, well set up for snorkeling with outside shower and house and drying line. Absolutely loved the comfy outdoor sofa on the big covered deck."

"Next door had a pack of dogs that would howl together on and off through the night. We were expecting dogs and roosters but howl club really went for it! Not the fault of the host of course. Bring earplugs and you'll be ok."

"Very spacious dwelling, lovely large breakfast bar, good size bathroom. All the amenities at your fingertips tips. Great verandah for sitting outside with lovely sea views. White sand and clear water at the very end of your back yard. Very peaceful."

"The location of the villa is excellent. It is situated on the beach, which is beautiful, clean and the water is crystal clear. The villa was well equipped and exceeded our expectations. It had everything anyone would want for a comfortable stay. The balcony and deck chairs provides a good outdoor space to enjoy lazy afternoons."

"I do wish that there was air conditioning at the villa as January is very hot and muggy in Raro. And complimentary wifi would have been the icing on the cake. Apart from these two aspects, everything else was great."

"Poor response/no responses from the property manager prior to arriving, needed to phone from New Zealand twice in the days prior to arrival to obtain access details. When we arrived at the property the code provided (after us chasing it), was not even correct. If we had not had a local sim card to call the property manager on arrival to request the updated code whilst stuck outside, we would not have been able to get into the property at all. Once inside we could not call the property manager from the landline as she had asked us to do, as the phone was disconnected. The Welcome booklet inside the house, described a 'starter pack' of what food would be provided, however there was no juice, bread or butter as suggested, which would have been ok if they hadn't said we should be expecting that. When we rang to ask, we were told the booklet was out of date (no apology). We never saw or heard from the property manager during our stay. Overall very disappointing experience with the communication, however the amazing setting and great house made up for it."
