"The room we stayed in was very spacious, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the accommodation was clean and modern. There were also a lot of facilities available in the garden, like a grill and outdoor seating, which we did not get to use because of our short stay. Additionally, the owners were very friendly."

It is a little bit away from the town, but that is no problem if you have a car, which you can park for free at the property.

"The place is very nice, downhills there are shops , uphills there are restaurants) Pepper valley is 30 min walk from the hotel. Administator Anastasiya is a very polite lady. And the person appointed for the service of the outside territory is nice as well."

Some of the staff ( not all) are rude. It is connected with their lifestyle and misunderstandings which appear when people ask for some things. Some do not understand that in a room there needs to be evth for eating and drinking even if a person eats out. In the best room of the new building still there is no fridge inside the room. However, the place for it exists as the furniture provided has particular space for it. The communication problems may occur so it is better to negotiate every single detail as the view of the relax may differ.

"Prado es una persona excelente, hemos disfrutado de nuestro viaje de ocio y hemos tenido algo más que un alojamiento, hemos tenido un hogar. Se ha preocupado en todo momento que estemos lo más agusto posible, y nos ha encantado todas las comodidades que tiene la casa, ha sido muy cercana y eso lo valoramos mucho, nosotros vamos a repetir, superaron nuestras expectativas, así que si estás en duda, entre dos alojamientos, ni te lo pienses, ven a la Casa de Campo de Prado."

Rhe house was particularly cold. There was no heating system except for a wood fireplace. We tried to heat the house but it wasn't enough and the morning after it was very cold. Taking the shower we realized hot water wasn't constant and suddenly, meanwhile having the shower, water became freezing cold. The price for dinner, rhough we decided to eat there, in my opinion, was a little expensive comparing it with other meals in Tunisia.

"Fabrice was an awesome host and staying at the house felt very authentic. As for all of Raiatea, it is important to know that you should rent a car as otherwise you would not be able to really enjoy the island. Since the house does not have walls or air conditioning, of course, there are mosquitoes and it can get very hot during the day. But this is clearly laid out in the description of the accommodation and I would consider this being part of the experience. There are multiple fans in the house. Make sure to bring and put insect repellent."

The army of roosters in the neighborhood holding their nightly crowing competition from 1 am to 5 am :-) Earplugs or noise canceling headphones are highly recommended.

The meter for the air conditioning was a bit annoying but once I'd got enough coins ok.

"The cabin locates in a kibbutz on a mountain, with very nice view over Sea of Galilee. The cabin is surrounded by plants, it is pleasant to wake up and see a scenery full of green. The cabin locates almost at the end of road, so it's quiet. The cabin is a nicely decorated boutique. The host is very helpful, providing plenty of information about the activities and attractions around."

Surprisingly it was still cold on nights of May, probably as the cabin locates on a mountain. The air conditioner was a bit noisy.

"The villa was beautiful with great views and the location is super quiet in the middle of the jungle. If you do not have your own car there is an option of taxis arranged by the hotel staff to take you to town. The staff were amazing, booked all our tours which you will get cheaper than when booking with tour companies and the guides were great. Beds were also super comfortable."

"Great location close to town but away from the noise. Good facilities with ice cold air con and use of kitchen. Friendly helpful staff. Fantastic value for money compared to everything else in the area."

I'm a bit of a wuss and didn't enjoy the cold shower. (the only thing that stopped me giving a 10) Oddly the next door neighbour started playing really loud music at 7.00 a.m. on two of the mornings I was there, although I understand this won't be a problem moving forward.

"This is not a standard hotel or gite or whatever, this is a special place. Expect no luxury here, this is not what Karims guesthouse is about. It is about being in a small village and in nature. Basically, this is as close to a home stay as you can book on Booking. You can choose a room or the stilted house (recommended) in a garden full of interesting plants. Your water comes from a well or the river, your coffee directly from the bushes around you, and the food from...actually I don't know where, but it is amazing. One of the Kpime waterfalls is just a short, but nice walk away, and you can roam the village or take a long walk to Yikpa waterfall (~4 h one way). And when you come back, you lay in a hammock with a fresh and local cocoa or sit in the garden. And the best, you don't need to be in Kpalime, with all the chaos, noise, and smells. Although it is something different, I really enjoyed my stay. Karim is a fantastic host and La montagne verde exactly my type of stay."

Just be aware what you are booking, and there is nothing negative about it.

"Everything. This is on the top of the list of places I need to come back to. The surroundings and the tranquility are bliss for all senses. The small cabin has all the basics. The beds were very comfy - haven’t slept so well for a long time. Having to walk a couple of steps outside to get to the bathroom and to get water added to the nostalgia - this was what cabins were like in my childhood. However, here you get a modern toilet and a shower in a nice warm bathroom. We did not have that luxury. The small museum was very interesting. The host was nice and inviting and he has a lot of knowledge of the past and present in the area. There are possibilities of renting kayaks- and canoes not far from the property. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night this time. But we most certainly will be back to explore the lake and the surroundings."

"Fabulous accomodation, the receptionist/barmaid even upgraded us to the hotel/motel, and gave us two rooms instead of one for no extra cost. What a lovely lady, she was so friendly, couldn't do enough for us. Arrived late for food, kitchen had closed, but she persuaded the chef to cook for us, great super. Instead of leaving early the next day, we decided to stay for the day, and had an amazing mixed grill for lunch. Great swimmimg pool. And everything was so reasonably priced. Can't recommend this place enough."

The fact I had only planned to have the one night there. Loved to have stayed longer :-)

"This stay was the best thing in our trip. For real! Firs of all - the host Ali. Most amazing person ever. We were so happy to meet him, gave a lot of tips and advices what to see nearby. Also did hike with him - without Ali it would be impossible to complete, but most amazing hike ever!!! And hey people, this is not a luxury villa, but its an experience, this is how you feel this country. Outside fireplace with a lot of stars in a sky, goats sounds in the morning and peace. Also jebel shams canyon is very near. When I come back to Oman, would definitely stay here again!"
