"The view was breathtaking and the room was clean and quiet. The staff were personable and helpful. The only noise you could hear in the room was the occasional monkey, which was surreal. The hotel is small and the little pool area is cute. There is a lovely gym and yoga studio. The beach is a block away and there are great restaurants within steps."

"The location. Close to eateries and Santa Teresa Beach. The breakfast was amazing and the staff so friendly and helpful. And i loved the sound of the howler monkeys in the mornings and early evening."

"Breakfast was fine would have preferred more options, i.e. yogurt, granola, sausage/bacon, juices. Consistency in portion size and better coffee & amount of coffee would improve the experience. The place was comfortable and staff was friendly. Location was great and scenery and wildlife. Christmas Eve dinner was exceptional Argentinian style (Thanks Juan!) Guido and Franko were wonderful in coordinating excursions. Pool and Pool table were great!"

"Coffee was not as good as other establishments and was always low to non available. Bar restaurant closing times were not announced. Some communication was off. The need to mention steep stairs and mosquitos were crazy at night."

"The staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed in a Superior Bungalow which had magnificent views so a good place to be when it rained. Staff gave us a lesson in how to use the spa so could have a soak when it was cold & rainy outside. Room was super clean & food in restaurant tasty. We stayed for 6 days, did the walking trails each day and saw heaps of birds."

"We loved this place - set out in the middle of the rain forest with little other than toucans, howler monkeys, bats and agouti for company. I admit that if you are looking for a bland, all inclusive resort - La Ceiba may not be for you. But if you you want to sleep in the rainforest then this place is beyond perfect. There's a decent track about 400m long from where you park to the accommodation. It is lit at night - watch out for snakes and you'll definitely see frogs."
