"I\nLike to help clean and comfortable.The beds were and how obviously quiet they were meant to be.And the balcony was amazing addition. I found confusing.Where's the bathrooms had signs on them with specific numbers that seem to be assigned to room that were a little confusing.I'm not sure if there was a room there or if it was another room.It was a confusing sign that said number six or number five , but the bathroom souls probably could use more hooks on the wall , but other than that was great"

"Karandi Is a very comfortable hostel, not far from the beach, not far from grocery shop. There Is also a restaurant next to it. It Is clean! And has very comfy rooms only with 4 beds, And nice bathrooms as well."

"The location is perfect! You're close to the beach and that's always the main thing I'm looking for. The beds were comfortable, every dorm has it s own little terrace and all in all it's a super nice stay there! Nice vibe!"

"Clean and modern rooms, with good bedspace and comfortable beds. Nice with sinks in the room! Friendly atmosphere and a nice garden to look at birds and lizards. Staff was nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend!"

"The common area could do with better seating - both chairs and tables seem to be non-permanent solutions. Sometimes there came a sudden awful smell in the kitchen area (maybe from the organic waste basket?)."

"A magical place for birdwatching on the water. The owner Douglas can provide excellent English speaking guides or do trips himself. We took a three hour kayaking trip, night walk and early morning three hour guided boat trip.Nothing is too much trouble for him. The accommodation was spacious and very clean , set in beautifully maintained gardens which attracted the birds. Very quiet at night. Cabins have AC. Douglas can provide a substantial breakfast and there is an excellent restaurant for lunch and dinner next door."

"We really enjoyed our stay here, the property has lovely gardens and is very well maintained and all the other guests weee respectful of eachother. Th shared spaces such as kitchenette and pool are are lovely and peaceful and you’re just a very short walk into sarama bustle and the beach etc. we stayed on the ground floor, the bed and room were comfy and ac worked a treat and the shower was warm - thank you!"

"Perfect veranda with kitchenette attached. Easy living outdoors. With hammocks and a lovely garden. Many animals in the garden from hummingbirds to coral snake and armadillo. Fine walk to the quiet beach and supermarket around the corner. Lovely place on earth."

"It was our last place that we stayed while exploring Costa Rica and it was a wonderful end to our adventure. The room was very spacious, with great shower and amazing view. There is a bar and restaurant on the premises with dish choices that will suit everyone ( my partner is a very picky eater and he found something for his taste buds everyday) Ocean is at your doorstep with lovely beach. Staff is very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Some reviews I have read about the hotel mentioned atrocious road to the property . That is an exaggeration. The road is rather bumpy for around 3-4 km not 15 miles . I would definitely stay at this hotel again, we have had stupendous times!"
