"A small Oasis in Tortuguero, with the sweetest staff. Good food, good bar, positive vibes. The night turtle watching trip is a very strong experience, for all family members. Remember you're in side a mangrove in a rainforest."

"De locatie is echt prachtig in de natuur en aan het strand (zwemmen in de zee niet mogelijk)! Wij hadden een onwijs leuke trip met gids Fernando. Heel veel dieren gezien. Extra mogelijkheden voor het bijboeken van aanvullende tours zoals o.a. een nachttour en kajakken. Prijs voor die aanvullende tour is leuk betaalbaar. Eten is prima en de huisjes eenvoudig maar precies wat je nodig hebt. In de tuin rondom Turtle Beach kun je al onwijs veel vogels, apen en andere dieren spotten. Ook de ‘huis kaaiman’ laat is veelvuldig zien."

"Ze zijn de boel aan het opknappen. Zo ook tijdens ons verblijf. De ruimte van het buffet is niet heel gezellig en massaal. Hopelijk maken ze dat nog gezelliger ook met de bar."

"La struttura è essenziale, ma ben organizzata e in un contesto magnifico: nel giardino ci sono piante tropicali e si possono vedere molti animali. Le escursioni proposte valgono sicuramente la pena, guide preparate e gruppi non troppo grandi."

"Cibo migliorabile, ma considerato che il posto è piuttosto isolato, va bene così."

"Tolle Touren, riesige Anlage am Meer und in der Nähe der Laguna cuatro (Kanu und Kajak sehr empfehlenswert) Angenehmer Poolberaich mit Bar, wilder kilometerlanger Strand (leider nicht zum Schwimmen empfohlen)"

"etwas unflexibel, auf grosse Reisegruppen ausgelegt, weniger auf Individualturisten (wie wir). Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen, für dieses Preisniveau müssten sie renoviert werden. Die Aktivitäten sind schön aber der Zeitplan streng durchgetaktet."

"Beautiful setting, each lodge has its own private space and there’s so much wildlife to see just sat on the patio. The lodge is large, well equipped and very comfortable. The host is very friendly and helpful."

"The property is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful for anything we needed. It is also in a much quieter area than the main strip of Tamarindo, a huge plus for us. Our room was wonderful, spacious, and clean. The beach part of the property was beautifully landscaped and a nice, peaceful place to rest for any downtime. Breakfast was excellent and a good way to start a day of adventure off full of energy. They even packed us to go breakfasts on the days we needed to head out super early for excursions. Overall, a wonderful property."

In the last day, we needed a later check out and as the hotel was not fully booked we got this offered very kindly. We also received an upgrade of the room. In the rooms there are towels you can take to the beach or pool. I loved that we didn’t have a tv in the room. There was an whatsapp no we could contact for any question we could have.
