"Located a short walk from the centre of Espargos away from the tourist crowds in Santa Maria. Comfortable and clean large room with attached bathroom. Sofa to relax on plus a table with 2 chairs if you want to eat. Kettle and fridge were useful. Also a TV which I didn't try."

"Wifi was patchy. Minimal hot water so had to take a cold shower."

"There are no addresses in the Town (no street names, no numbering). We did not take a taxi, so was challenging to find. Not written on the house, that we arrive to CA FILO. We could only guess, because we noticed antennas on the roof of the house, which were similar to the ones in the booking.com photo of the property."

"Comfortable room 5 mins walk from centre. Neared somewhere near to the airport as internal flight not until next day and didn’t want to go to Santa Maria to come back. Filo was very helpful. Walked to salt mine pool from the property for a swim. Walk took an hour"

"Mrs Filó and her son were very friendly and welcomed me. They also gave tips how to better find the accommodation. The room and bathroom were extremly clean. I slept here one night because I would have a flight at the next day. Its proximity to the Sal airport is perfect."

"This place was perfect for me! Being a solo traveller it is very safe and the hosts are amazing, very friendly and helped me with anything I needed. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I highly recommend staying here and would stay here again! Thank you for everything❤️"
