"The guesthouse is simple but the hosts are incredibly kind and helpful in arranging hikes/taxis etc, the bed was much more comfortable than in many much more expensive places we stayed, breakfast on the terrace was lovely, and the location is central and convenient. Highly recommend!"

"Breakfast was good although i missed a stronger coffee. The lights in the room were all white which made the room feel a lot less cozy. But that's just a personal preference!"

"Very nice location. Very nice and helpful owner. Board games to borrow (free). Information brochures about mountain hikes, restaurants in the place, etc. prepared by the owner - a great idea, I enjoyed it very much. Great, very tasty and filling breakfast."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. We loved that it is located outside the city in a village, where you can hear roosters crowing in the morning :) We got a room right next to the terrace and slept very well. The beds are comfortable. The staff were extremely kind — we were truly impressed. Magali helped us with recommendations for hikes. The food was good, especially the ice cream:). We had a very relaxing stay and appreciated that the staff speak English. If we return to Cape Verde, we would definitely love to stay here again. We highly recommend this place."

"The apartment was clean and well-kept. Great location - there's a bakery nearby where you can always buy fresh bread. Canela beach is within walking distance. Bus number 6 takes you conveniently to Plateau center."
