"Casa Pau is a gem in Santa Maria. The interior design is stylish and cozy, making it a very comfortable place to relax. The location is excellent—you can walk to the beach and top-rated restaurants in minutes. Eduisa is a wonderful host who went above and beyond to help us with our arrangements. Plus, the two resident cats are super cute! If you want a stylish and convenient stay in Sal, this is it."

"It is located in a local neighborhood close to the beach and the center of the village. There’s an extraordinary calm vibe in the house which I have appreciated very much. Breakfast is served upon request and there is a common kitchen and living room…..Room is simple but bright with a balcony and comfy bed. Staff is friendly and available for requests."

"There is a lack of water during several Hours but this is a problem of the island, not of the house. Maybe some gallons with water could work out for those moments."

"The accommodation is in a great location, you get to see and hear real Cape Verde and people getting on with their daily lives. The property and especially top apartments have lovely views of the mountains, beach and (on a clear day) Fogo with its volcano. We stayed in the 2-bed apartment which was comfortable and had all basics that we needed. The kitchen had a full cooker with a stove and oven, fridge with a freezer compartment and a microwave plus all basic utensils. The apartment was spotless. The owner (Delfim) was very helpful, responded quickly during the booking process and our stay."

"The hotel is right on the beach, offering a great panoramic view from the terrace. Its location is very central, with everything within easy reach. The room is spacious, nicely and tastefully furnished, equipped with mosquito netting and shutters. The double bed is amazingly comfortable. Breakfast is hearty, with a great selection of dishes. The breakfast waitress is worth her weight in gold. :)"
