Central Hotel is set in a renovated, 18th-century building, in the historical centre of Nimes, right behind the ancient roman site, the Porte d’Auguste. "Excellent location within very easy walking distance to the attractions such as the arena. The host was so very nice at reception. He even came outside to help us scope out a parking spot out front for a van that we could use overnight. A huge kudos to him!!! Rooms were comfortable and clean."

Hotel Central staff (Hassan) was very helpful and informed us about Nimes and provided useful information to us throughout our stay. His morning coffee was great, and both morning & evening conversations were friendly.....thanks!"

"The location was good for a few close by metro's, various shops/food places close by eg supermarket, patisserie. The entrance was quite inviting. The room was comfy and was cleaned every day. The lady working at breakfast was lovely and helpful. Most of the staff were polite/helpful."
