Jean-Paul is the loveliest of hosts, happy to share information about the area and generously took us to visit friends who own a spectacular winery on the outskirts of Cassis. The restaurant was not open when we stayed, so we walked down the high street and found a bar and then a fantastic pizza on the way back."
