"V peaceful location. Arrived in the dark and had some difficulty finding the building due to my phone / sat nav battery going flat - owners came out to meet me and could not have been more friendly and helpful! Lovely apartment, very comfortable and well equipped."

"Equipped with everything you could need,, including a kitchen, and it all worked well. The bed was the most comfortable, out of the nine we've had on this trip so far. Lovely garden setting for totally independent accommodation. For me, its true rating is excellent."

"The breakfast was fantastic - fresh fruit and pancakes to eggs cooked on request. We also had room service as we arrived just before the kitchen closed and the salad was utterly delicious. The staff were amazing and so kind. The hotel has stunning views and the grounds are beautiful. We were able to enjoy the gardens with the dogs which if you get a chance to walk around do - they are worth a look. Our room was on the lower ground with our own access to the garden which with 3 dogs was a game changer. We travel a lot with our dogs and it was the best hotel we have stayed in yet. All our needs were met by the staff and the accommodation. We will definitely be back."

"Property is full of character. Expect a wooden cottage hidden in semi private forested location. Yes the floors are creaking and there's creepy cellar included. Nevertheless the kitchen is modernly equipped and bathroom is nice too. It's noticeably cold inside even on hot days. We've had some troubles, Some light bulbs were not working so we had to swap them between the rooms. We've had a dog with us, and the location was perfect. There are wild animals around. Fox came over to peek through kitchen door and apparently deer, badgers and sometimes even wolves show up. Montroc is well connected to Chamonix valley by free train, and Le Tour tih the cable car is nearly walking distance away."
