"Such a lovely place to spend first night of Camino Francés. Stunning view from our room and warm room where we could get dry as it had been very wet. Communal pilgrim supper and all staff very friendly and helpful. Meant we didn’t have such a long hike to Roncasvalles."

"I stayed in a private room on my first night of the Camino and it was a good place to stop after travelling all day and then just over an hour's walk on the Napoleon route. They provide a dinner and it was very good and filling so plenty fuel for the following day. I didn't take the breakfast as I chose to stop at orrison after another couple of kilometres as I'm not an early eater but I heard from others I walked with that it was also good. The place has some tables and chairs, vending machines and a bathroom which are outside and open if you arrive early which was good to relax a little. Place was very clean and the hosts were friendly."

"Lovely breakfast (we had to take a jar of the homemade fig jam home with us) comfortable room, lovely grounds to explore, our two year old enjoyed running around and the play area. Restaurant recommendation (la flambée) was on point. We stopped by a wine shop to stock up on the way home. Thank you for the great stay!"

"Beautiful view from the room. Also, because of the bad weather, I couldn't go over the Pyrenees as planned as one of the cols was closed as well, so I had to take another and more direct route to the premises. Because this I arrived a lot earlier than expected. Thankfully, the host was able to let me in earlier. Much appreciated."

"Fantastic location. Everything was within a 10-15 min walk. Very spacious place, plenty of room for us all. The hosts were very accommodating. They allowed us to check in early on the day of arrival, and let us leave our bags there on the day we checked out- which was super helpful! They also left us a welcoming gift which was really sweet of them. All in all it was a great stay, no complaints at all! Would definitely recommend!"
