"Spacious place in a quiet alleyway with an almost village feeling (you can hear those cockerels sing in the morning!) but close to the main motorway and very near the city of Valenciennes. Free parking on the street nearby, and various amenities close by including a large Leclerc hypermarket, boulangerie, friterie etc. The communication with the owner was efficient and easy, and good value for money."

"The gite itself was absolutely beautiful. It had the most charming secluded garden. The village was quaint and the surrounding countryside was beautiful. Lots of amazing walks along country roads and in tranquil woodlands. A perfect rural retreat. The hosts provided a wonderful welcome pack of local produce, including some delicious home-made jam!"
