Hotel Balea

"Lovely room in quirky hotel on the edge of a gorgeous surfing village. Room was modern and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Great to have garden area and direct access to outside for the dog."

"No kettle in the room and the coffee machine in cafe area was not switched on so no access to a coffee or tea other than breakfast time. This was just a frustration as nearest access to a drink is 15 mins walk which had it been raining would not have been good?"

"Comfortable room with view of the sea. No traffic noise in room. Easy parking opposite hotel. Enjoyed a glass of local wine."

"Quirky property with lots of character. Lovely friendly owner. Good location about a 10 minute walk to the sea. Really liked Guethary, hidden gem."

"Only thing maybe just a little cosmetic updating in the bathroom but still really liked the room."

"Helpful and charming staff, good bathrooms and quiet bedroom. Good value."

"Climb out of town, and thin mattress."

"The staff were really friendly. The room was clean and bright. There were benches in the courtyard where you could bring a picnic to snack"

"A little bit of a walk from the centre, but not far. Beach towels to borrow or even rent would have been useful"

"The location, the staff, the facilities, the decoration, the fact that it was an old primary school. Extremely happy with our stay ! I highly recommend the balea hotel 😊"

"That we didn't stay longer 🙂"

"Good location, 5 minutes walk from the village centre. Very friendly staff. Space to park the car (conplicated in the area in summer). Nice installations."

"Nothing, everything was good. Perhaps cheaper prices, but it is summer and it is the 64 region!"

"Spotless, modern inside, authentic outside, brilliant parking in an area where that is difficult"
