"Grand old hotel"

"Only one thing . Outside the front door to the car park in an old pot plant full of water with dozens of cigarette butts floating in it. A smoker or non smoker is a bit of a put off Apart from that excellent 👍"

"Good location in Cahors, 5 to 10 minutes from the high street. We were lucky to get a free parking space, right in front of the hotel. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Very spacious room, spotlessly cleaned. Big and comfortable beds at this delightful traditional French hotel. Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity to dine in the restaurant, as it was reserved for a large gathering the night we stayed. Guess that is an excuse to come back on our next trip to Cahors! Highly recommended!"

"Lovely old world hotel. The receptionist went out of his way to assist with parking our car and also offered to move our friends room to be next to us. We had a lovely breakfast in the lounge. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning next time we come to Cahors"

"The building is picturesque and convenient for the train station. The staff were helpful and provided an extension cord for a medical device. The dinners and breakfasts (we took the demi-pension scheme) were well prepared and presented, with a decent wine list."

"The rooms were spartan and not well provided with electrical outlets. Like other French hotels in the fall, full heating was not provided. There were not enough clothes hangers available."

"The location, the free parking, the restaurant accessibility on Saturday night, the staff - particularly the restaurant waitress on 11 October. She was helpful, friendly and very efficient. Dinner was very good"

"The decor and furnishings in the bedroom and public areas were rather tired and didn't do justice to the building. The dining room decor was better. A bit of a shame really as the building and original features (eg staircase and windows) are lovely and the hotel could be quite special with a bit of refurbishment."
