"The owners were very accomodating when we asked to arrive early and the apartment is very comfortable and clean. The sea, the shops/restraunts and the train station are all just a short walk away. And there is private parking if you take a car. There is plenty of space in the apartment and out in the garden, there is even a covered BBQ area, just wish we’d been able to stay longer to really appreciate it all."

"We really enjoyed our stay in this spacious and very clean apartment. The artistic touches, including the owner’s own paintings, gave it a unique charm. The garden is beautiful and well cared for, making it a perfect spot to relax. The owners are super lovely and welcoming, and the location is excellent - just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and coffee shops. Highly recommended!"
"Everything was wonderful. The only small thing - at night we sometimes noticed a humming noise from the neighbors’ garden (possibly a pool pump). It wasn’t a big issue for us, but light sleepers might notice it, it may be worth bringing some ear plugs."
"Die Wohnung als Haus im Haus ist für 4 Personen sehr geräumig und vollständig ausgestattet, dabei ruhig gelegen, geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es gibt eine Klimaanlage im Wohnzimmer, welche die Wohnung in kurzer Zeit angenehm und wirksam abkühlt. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern verlief problemlos, auch die Unterstützung (bspw. bei Fragen zu bestimmten Restaurants) vor Ort verlief jederzeit unkompliziert und sympathisch. Der Garten mit überdachtem Grillplatz (Echtholzgrill, Holz war vor Ort reichlich vorhanden) mit viel Platz zum Essen und Sitzen ist ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Man kann in 10 Minuten zu Fuß ans Meer und zum Einkaufen gehen. Es gab für uns einen eigenen Parkplatz direkt auf dem abgeschlossenen Grundstück. Wir können die Wohnung absolut empfehlen!"

"Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und in ein paar Minuten ist man zu Fuß am Strand. In der Wohnung findet man alles, was man für den täglichen Bedarf braucht."
"Wir wussten zwar, dass die Wohnung keine Klimaanlage hat, aber es wäre schon sinnvoll eine nachzurüsten. Die Nächte waren sehr warm so dass auch die offenen Fenster (Mücken) und Ventilatoren wenig Abhilfe schafften."

"Die Wohnung ist riesig, sehr gut ausgestattet, ruhig gelegen und sehr gemütlich. Wir haben uns gleich zu Hause gefühlt. Es war toll, einen großen Garten mit überdachtem Grillplatz und einer Terrasse zum Essen und Sitzen zu haben. Wir konnten zu Fuß ans Meer und zum Einkaufen gehen. Es war super, einen abgesicherten Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus zu haben. Martine und Simon waren sehr, sehr herzlich, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir können die Wohnung absolut empfehlen!"

"A stunning property nestled in a valley in beautiful countryside with welcoming hosts plus dogs, cats and tame sheep, what is not to like? The welcome was first class, warm and genuine. Francoise showed us around and let us know that if we needed anything we only had to ask. The property is beautiful, very well appointed and in a lovely location. A parking space right outside the door. The room was immaculately clean and very well equipped with tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom and shower was very high end. The evening meal was superb, much of which was cooked using produce from the garden. Francoise and Cathy are amazing cooks and first class hosts. Breakfast was delicious too, fresh croissants, bread, juice, coffee and delicious home made jams/honey. I have zero hesitation in recommending this stay. It has made a lasting impression on us and we look forwarding to booking again in the future."

"Breakfast was wonderful: fruit, pastries fresh from the oven, really good French coffee, etc. Another real plus: the site is calm, away from busy/noisy roads, and inside the house is perfectly quiet. I slept like an angel."
"The host was really nice and welcoming and spoke good enough English to have a good conversation. We arrived in le Portel for 3pm and was allowed to check in for 5pm. The beachfront on the doorstep was an excellent way to pass the couple of hours. The 2 days we spent here was very comfy and relaxing for which we then began our journey to Brittany (excellent for a stop over location). The host was really accommodating of our small dog Gracie too which was lovely."
"Autonomie d’entrée et de sortie, magasin d’appoint (très cher attention) juste en dessous, baie vitrée qui s’ouvre complètement sur une vue magnifique. Nous n’avons pas tellement souffert de la promiscuité. Il ne manque vraiment rien dans l’appartement (ou peut être un lave linge mais faut vraiment être tatillon). Il y a même les bracelets jetons qui vous permettent de faire des activités (sinon vous devez payer 2€)"
