"We booked this hotel based on the reviews, and were slightly concerned when it turned out to be one of those hotels you see hundreds of in France - on a main road, and potentially a relic of a bygone age. We needn't have worried, this one is different. It's been modernised to a very high standard, and with two layers of double glazing in the bedroom, the main road was completely blocked out. The dinner can only be described as exceptional. A great find.."
"If I'm being really picky, the wonderful extra large bed was too firm for us - but that's personal choice, and firm beds seem to be the in thing."

"The room and bathroom were spacious, the staff was absolutely great and helpful. Beds were comfortable and the room was really quiet. If you book a room without river view you won’t be bothered by the street at night. I had a calm and peaceful stay at La Source."

"We asked for a room overlooking the river rather than a quiet room which we had - thank you. The room was good, very clean, large bathroom, comfortable bed. The food was very good.The host very pleasant. The instructions for entry to the hotel was good Went for a nice long walk along the river."
"The hotel was right on a busy main road. The wi fi did not work in the bedroom. We could not get the AC to work, but this may have been operator error! This meant we had to have the window open. Although on a busy road it was not too disturbing."
