"The place is well looked after. Some of the fittings were old but had clearly been so well maintained that it didn't matter. Everything worked perfectly so don't be put off by any photos where it looks basic. Being older there aren't many plugs but there were two extension plug-things in the room to prevent that being an issue. And a nice little balcony which got a lot of sun. The managerer was lovely and very helpful. She helped me with some public transport questions I had."

"The hotel is close to the Citadelle's Old Town, which is about 10 minutes' walk away, and equally close to the port. Free parking is available opposite the hotel. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, equipped with a TV, air conditioning and a balcony. There is also a kettle for coffee or tea. The host is very friendly."
