"Denise was a charming and helpful host, and made us feel very much at home. The breakfast included many of her home made foods (jam, fruit juice, verveine tea) which kept us going all morning. We managed by using the local bus to Menton as we were travelling by train, but a car would be an advantage, given that there was nothing open at Castellar village. The views from our room were lovely, and we enjoyed evening picnics by the pool."

"We spent 11nights at L'Aleandra,Denise our hostess was exceptional,Her breakfasts were delicious and the facilities were spotless,great shower and balcony,handy private parking,Bus to Menton just outside of property, marvelous views of sea and Mountains and a very calm place away from the hustle and bustle of the coast,There are 2 hiking trails from the village with breathtaking views.We had an amazing, relaxing stay at L 'Aleandra,Thank you Denise for taking such good care of us you are truly the hostess with the mostess 😁"

"Denise, our host was most welcoming. Free parking was ideal and there was a bus stop very close by. The pool was lovely to cool off in. Breakfast was delicious. The room was spacious."
