"Very quirky, traditional place with lots of fascinating antiques. Perfectly placed for an overnight stop on our drive from Calais to Austria. The owner is lovely, helpful, friendly and interesting to chat to! Nice little town on the river Meuthe nearby is good for a walk and something to eat."

"found by chance, on our way through, we have been quite happy and felt welcomed nice place with a nice view, confortable bed, great traditional breakfast! The owner was also so kind to arrange for a nice supper since all restaurants in the neighborhood are closed on Monday."

"Good location to break the long drive from Switzerland to Calais. Friendly, helpful host who directed us to the nearest supermarket, offered to heat up food, provide plates, cutlery etc - and happily served us much-needed cold drinks from his bar!"
