Hotel L'Ecailler is set beside the Port de Plaisance in Ouistreham, a 5-minute drive from the D-day Landing Beaches and Museum. "I was early an the manager found a room ahead of time. He swapped me to first floor from second floor which was good because there is no lift and I am not brilliant on stairs. I used the resaturant which I think is part of the same business, l"Ardoise. Excellent meal and service."
