"We had a truly delightful one-night stay at this beautiful hotel. From the moment we arrived, Paul and Peggy welcomed us with such warmth that we instantly felt at home. The welcome drink was a lovely touch and set the tone for a relaxing visit. The pool was a refreshing treat, especially at this time of year, a perfect stop for unwinding after our drive from Poitiers to Limoges. The decor was absolutely stunning, with the elegance of a French castle and adding a touch of magic to our stay. Peggy’s take on French cooking was divine and was a testament to her passion and creativity in the kitchen. It was the perfect culinary experience to complement the charming ambiance. Overall, this was the ideal stopover: cozy, elegant, and full of character. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable and heartwarming stay."

"The bedrooms and other rooms are beautiful and tasteful. The garden is large and peaceful. The host & hostess were both friendly and welcoming. The dinner was delicious. The swimming pool was great given the hot weather."

"What a hidden gem! Down a little lane in the beautiful French countryside. Once through the gates an oasis of calm and comfort greeted you. Our hosts, Paul and Peggy were charming and nothing was too much trouble. Our accommodation was huge and charming with antique furniture and accessories, bed also huge. The meals were sublime, Peggy is a fantastic cook and Both are great hosts, we were lucky enough to eat outside on both evenings. The pool was clean and very welcoming spot to chill in the afternoon heat. Overall a great mini break we would stay again in a heartbeat"

"Whilst our room was huge the bathroom was a little on the smaller side. It didn’t affect our stay at all just sharing this information for openness (we stayed in an annexe room with a lovely outside seating area)"

"We had a lovely stay with Paul and Peggy. The rooms are comfortable and well presented. The garden and pool area is beautiful with stunning views over the valley. But the stand out aspect for us was how friendly and welcoming our hosts were and the FOOD!! Wow! Peggy is a terrific chef. So much of the lovely dishes we had were hand made by Peggy. A really wonderful place. We will be back!"
