"Location was excellent with plenty of activities, interesting places to visit, good local services and pleasing surroundings. Plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils for self catering, and good indoor and outdoor opportunities for dining. Free WiFi available throughout the property but not mentioned in the Booking.com description. Good outdoor space for the children to let off steam. The host was very helpful and friendly (and English speaking)."
"We had visited the area in previous years so knew many of the local attractions, activities and places of interest before we arrived, but for new visitors some guides, suggestions and helpful guidance regarding the local facilities and attractions would have been helpful. It would have been nice to write a positive review in a visitors' book, and to learn from others' experiences at the property"

"Superb location, a few minutes from the old town of Pontivy. Lots of lovely forest walks, wildlife such as deer, owl, jays, buzzards etc. Real old world feel. Francois and Elizabeth were wonderful and could not have been more helpful. Warm welcome and provided all that is needed for a lovely stay in Pontivy / Morbihan."
"Very little to be honest. The main house / Chateau is undergoing loving restoration as are some of the buildings and grounds surrounding it. The Orangerie is spacious and clean and separate from the main house."

"Très beau gîte, de caractère puisque c’est une dépendance du château, propre et très bien équipé !! Ce sont nos enfants et petits enfants qui l’ont occupé durant une semaine à l’occasion d’un temps de rencontre familial à quelques kms de là. L’accueil des propriétaires a été chaleureux et très attentionné !! Nous avons pu apprécier la vie dans ce gîte à l’occasion de repas partagés le soir : une cuisine bien équipée et bien pensée avec son large passe plats vers la salle à manger, un coin salon très apprécié avec la cheminée et un très grand écran télé, des chambres spacieuses et confortables et plusieurs salles de bain !! Bref, un gîte à recommander et qui doit être encore plus agréable à la belle saison quand on peut profiter du jardin !!"

"Le logement est très accueillant, les pièces à vivre sont vraiment spacieuses, la cheminée est un plus très apprécié car le temps était froid pendant notre séjour; Monsieur de l'Escale est venu monter le chauffage, ce que nous ne pouvions pas faire."
