"We had a lovely stay at Gîte La P’tite Fugue in Mareuil-sur-Cher. The location is excellent—easy to find and well situated for exploring the area. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, and the surprise bottle of wine waiting for us on the table was such a thoughtful touch! The gîte has a beautiful garden that adds to the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. It’s a quiet and serene place—perfect for unwinding. A truly charming spot with great hospitality. Highly recommended if you're visiting the region!"

"A quiet place, kind staff, a private parking, easy late check-in, clean bedrooms and comfortable beds. The two of us were the only people in the swimming pool area in the morning which I loved. Breakfast (as much as you can eat) was basic but for me more than enough. The manager's Border Collie Jack was very friendly and my daughter loved playing with him."

"The chalet is very spacey, it easily fitted our party of 10 people. We liked a private shower in each room, plenty of common space on each floor, outside view and internal design. The kitchen is very well equipped that made our staying very comfortable. On the ground floor there was a light damp smell during the whole week we stayed there despite keeping windows opened. Alain also was very strict regarding check in and check out time (as declared, we asked for extension, but got a reject) while the chalet was actually free in the extended hours."

"The house was fantastic, and actually nicer than in the pictures. Swimming pool, barbeque, lots of bedrooms, bathrooms and so on. MC, Olivier and their son was The best hosts, and they gave us a lot of tips and tricks both with bakeries, grovery stores and restaurants. They even gave us tips on where to go next on our vacation."

"Magnifique 😍 Une agréable surprise.. Nous sommes ravies de ce lieu où le temps s'arrête dans un calme absolu. C’est vallonnée et extra pour les Balades, randos. Visite ludique pour la famille avec la maison de la noisette à 1,5 km du gîte. Nous avons fait connaissance de Christine, la propriétaire des lieux et ce fût une merveilleuse rencontre. Un grand grand merci pour l'accueil et ce charmant hameau qui mérite d'être visité. On s’y sent bien. Amoureux de la nature, de la pierre, de l’histoire, de l’art , des relations saines et du calme.. c'est tout ça à la fois. Merci, merci, merci. Le gîte "Noisette " est très simple et chaleureux. Il y fait bon vivre.la literie est de bonne qualité et tout y est. Pas pour les personnes à mobilité réduite, mais le lieu a un autre gîte adapté pour les personnes en situation de handicap. "A wonderful two week stay at La Poussada. Fantastic owners who went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. We went with both sets of Grandparents and rented two apartments. Tortuga and Plumeria. One had beautiful views, the other right next to the pool. Good for both kids and grandparents alike. Beautifully appointed apartments, everything is a lovely standard. Comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. There isn’t an oven but you have a good induction hob and microwave and we managed very well cooking for 8 people each night. Location is lovely, great local amenities and restaurants in La Palme but the village is still nice and peaceful. However you also have the lovely and lively beach towns of Leucate and Port La Novelle close by as well as Narbonne, Perpignan and Collioure. We will definitely be back.
