"The location is great, the view from the room/terrace is great. The pool with a view is a nice touch. Isabelle the host is excellent and very passionate about her job, always ready to assist and share tips. We received a top 5 stars treatment, from the suitcases taken and brought back to the jetty, to restaurants/bike bookings and the home made punch 🍹 We could not thank her enough for the great stay, we’ll be back."

"It was wonderful to be met at the ferry by our host and taken to our accommodation. Our accommodation was smaller than expected but nevertheless provided a kitchen, bedroom and shower/toilet facilities with sitting out area at the front. Everything was sparkling clean and well presented with a welcoming carton of Planters & bottle of water in the fridge. The bed was very comfortable. We loved the shared social/dinning area located on the first floor up a flight of stairs at the side of the property. This is where the swimming pool can be found and you have wonderful views over the bay."

"Our studio was located on the ground floor and literally adjacent to the road, therefore we heard all passing traffic. The sea view was restricted, having to look through/over next doors balcony in order to see the view. This was disapointing."

"Really great place, my flight was canceled and the host stayed up until 2 o'clock in the morning to meet me and check me in. It was a really great welcome. Beautiful setting with lots of greenery around and I was able to walk to the beach the next morning."

"L'appartement est bien équipé et avec une situation très agréable, au calme. De la terrasse nous avons pu observer des iguanes, des tortues, des aigrettes, des hérons... Et malgré la présence de l'eau, nous n'avons pratiquement pas eu de moustique. Un plus, la présence de la douche extérieure et de la piscine."

"Situé dans un cadre idyllique au milieu d'une végétation luxuriante, le domaine de Valcine est l'endroit idéal pour observer une paisible trêve hors du temps et se mettre au vert. La proximité de nombreux sentiers de randonnée comme la Trace des Contrebandiers et de la cascade de Bis est appréciable. Les propriétaires, fort sympathiques, veillent à ce que votre séjour se passe le mieux possible. Le panier repas servi (sur commande), très varié, révèle toutes les merveilles et les saveurs de la cuisine locale. Un excellent séjour en leur compagnie, j'y reviendrai très certainement."

"1. The location was superb. It was completely quiet and provided panoramic views over the ocean from the terrace. 2. The cottage was sensitively built -compact, but with all we needed. 3. The hostess and owner were friendly and very helpful -it was a pleasure to meet them both. 4. We were on a walking holiday and access to the southern half of the island was good from here. 5. It was extremely hot during our stay. The lovely swimming pool and terrace were much appreciated. 6. Exploring the plants and seeing the birds in the compact but varied garden was a pleasure. 7. This was our best accommodation during our 4 weeks on the island."
