"If you're looking for a quiet place, Villa Serenity by the Water is where you need to go... and yet, it's just a throw of stone away from shops and busy places... as for the breakfast, I must say I've enjoyed the sweetest omelette ever, accompanied with a selection of fruits/yoghurt/toasts... exactly what I needed to start my next journey on the right foot !!!... apart from that, rooms are large, very well quiped and nicely decorated... making your stay real enjoyable !"

I found it a little difficult to adjust temperature in the shower as it is a sophisticated model with thermostat... but had I stayed longer, I would have asked for advice and I'm sure I would have mastered the issue !

You have to get used to the plane's noise. Nothing the property can do about.

"This is a family recreational resort with some dorms. Mine was inside the main building near the inside pool and table tennis area. The showers and two toilets are those used by the pool guests. I was fortunate to have only one female dorm mate. There are lockers outside in the hallway and you are given a room key. The manager kindly lent me sheets. I liked the location in the woods not far from the pedestrian street."

The kitchen could use some new utensils. There were no cups or glasses, just some plastic cups.

"Good location by the sea which is not far from the main street of Palau where you can find restaurants and groceries (less than 10 minutes walking). Huge room and comfy beds. The staff is really friendly and he dropped us off at the airport. No complaints"

"absolutely top ', nice and kind is the owner. We were absolutely excited by breakfast - everything was fresh and homemade and we got the stories about all products which were used. We loved it and we will come with pleasure again. We can only recommended. and like a bonus, we can stay with our small dog, what was the first time in the existence of this hotel. Thank you again. "Cette maison d'hôtes est charmante. J'ai été à l'aise....comme à la maison. Le jardin est paisible. J'ai apprécié le calme et le personnel qui était au petit soin. Le petit déjeuner est copieux. J'ai apprécié aussi la proposition d'un chauffeur depuis l'aéroport compris dans le tarif. Il y a un super marché à 300m bien pratique."

The only drawback was the heater kept switching off & I had to get the staff to turn it on a few times

Tout était appréciable, au niveau de l’emplacement et pour l’espace d’ensemble. La piscine a un petit problème de fuite d’où un niveau de hauteur d’eau un peu bas. Ceci n’a que très peu altéré le plaisir de s’y être baigné.

Not too clean (still very acceptable and I would return). Single bed (would loved to have 2 separate beds). Air conditioner is fairly weak.

"Cozy and clean guesthouse located in a good area. Rooms are spacious and have everything you could want. Personnel is exceptionally friendly and can help with all kinds of issues. Breakfast and food in general is really delicious! Have been here three times now and will come back again soon."

"Rooms were nice, bed comfortable. My room was located on 2nd floor, although i did not have any problems with stairs, one should know that there is no lift for people."
