I was a bit concerned about previous reviews about lack of heating and hot water but the place was warm and we didn’t need the heaters provided, shower water was hot which we needed for the long treks in the surrounding mountains. "Martin and Gabriela are the loveliest hosts you can find. A couple who retired from Bavaria to build their paradise here, they are warm, hospitable, helpful and friendly. And you’ll get to stay in a paradise indeed in your time there. Their breakfast are of home made jam, bread, preserved fruits. The eggs are all from free range chicken reared in their yards. And very good coffee too. You will get to know their lovely pet Rocky, a husky, and another smaller dog whose name I forgot. There’s also a cat Sisi. They will pick u up by car from your bus stop off . Depending on the circumstance they may even give you a tour of the local towns. The rooms are clean and comfortable. With free WiFi. All in all I couldn’t have found better place to stay and hosts! ☺️"

"My room had everything one could desire for self-reliance. Nice folks who bent over backwards to accommodate my every wish. I couldn't have been more pleased. From the outside, the place looked simple, but the room itself was actually nicer and better equipped than the Sheraton in Brussels or the King Fajd Palace in Dakar which I had stayed in en route."

The street was a block in from the main road which was quiet and nice in the daytime but too dark to walk at night alone as a single lady.

The only inconvenience was that we ran out of water and weren't able to use until next morning, and the water tank that was filled during the night overflowed and downpoured on 1 of the rooms causing rapturous noise until we finally got a hold of a staff to close the tube(?).

"Tranquil, well equipped, rustic cottage. Stunning views of the sea from the balcony. Kitchen has all the utensils and basic amenities needed for cooking. Beach towels and cool box were a great addition too. The bathroom is clean and toiletries were availbale. Marco met us from the airport to guide us to the place, stopping with us at a local supermarket en route. Surrounded by nature and beautiful beaches close by (by car), this place was a perfect place to relax! There is a beach just a 3-minute stroll away."

Nothing. The place was great. A car (ideally an SUV) is needed if you wish to explore the many beaches this island has to offer.

"Gyönyönyörű, csendes környezet. Segítőkész , kedves tulajdonos. Ápolt, gondozott kert számunkra egzotikus nôvényekkel, kocsibeálló befuttatva kiwivel, kerítés mellett gránátalma, pálmák alatt kifeszített függőágy és medence melletti fügék...egyszerűen csodålatos😊 Remélem még visszatérek!"

"The hosts are incredible. SO SO generous and attentive. Great sense of humour. Incredible homemade food and drink. One is welcomed into family."

The accommodation is quite remote and arriving at night (my own "fault"), the drive up into hills from nearest "main" road is a long way through forest. A bit tricky, but worth the trip! Important to have good guidance in advance!

"My father and I loved our night at this lodge. The yurt was large, the beds comfortable, and there were plenty of blankets to keep us warm. The site is also very nice, being surrounded by nature. The outdoor bathrooms are great too. Very clean. And what about the meals? We opted for their dinner offer, which was excellent, even if it was a bit pricey compared to what you find in local restaurants. We recommend it. There were two salads, the main course, and a small dessert. Breakfast was also delicious. The crepes, yum! We recommend staying here :)"
