"From the airport, it’s a 20-minute drive. GPS may show that you arrive a little earlier, but once you enter the correct alley, drive a few meters further. You will need the gate to enter the villa — it’s right opposite the trees. You will see it. The town of Houmt Souk is 7–10 minutes away by car, which is very convenient if you value peace, comfort, and coziness, while still being close to the city. Having a car or using taxis is essential for your convenience. At the villa, you will hear birds singing, and there are many authentic national elements. There is a private yard, and you can also park your car on the property. If it’s cool or hot, you can turn on the air conditioners. The kitchen is well equipped, there are two bathrooms, a washing machine, and good hot-water pressure. Comfortable and self-sufficient. The polite and attentive host will guide you and help you with anything you need."

Owners not there so being run by backpackers/chef - meant little things were missed. Boat to get there is very overpriced.

"Simba camp is an amazing place to stay, especially if you want to experience the local culture and see wildlife. The chef cooked delicious food and even went out of his way to cater to my son's fussy eating. The highlights were definitely the morning and evening walks with Kwenia to see the wildlife and learn about the bush, the school and village visits, and beading with the local women. A very memorable experience."

"the bungalow was clean and confortable, breakfast was very complete with cheese, eggs, meat,salad... the space is quiet and just next to the river. there is WiFi in the restaurant and hammocks and chairs to chill in the compound. Good value for money."

There was no hot water in the showers, otherwise we would have stayed another night.

The view is stunning, and the atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy nature. I left feeling completely recharged. Can’t wait to come back! "It was a pleasant stay. We all enjoyed alot. Yasir the manager was very helpful and accommodating of our requests. Watchman was also very polite and helpful. Shops nearby. Beach was superb! Private Pool was clean and enjoyable for kids and adults alike. Overall we had a great time."
