"On arrival we were met at the door by a chap called Wim who was extremely friendly and helpful. He also provided some awesome tips and information for visiting Brugge. The hotel is located only a 2 minute walk from the central square and I highly recommend this tiny little gem of a hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Brugge."

"My bedroom was in the basement, it was dark, and there was a cold air-con unit in the ceiling which i could not adjust. The lamp at the bedside was broken. Downstairs lounge area was very dark, and had a small kitchenette attached. Place was convenient for US border, but far from downtown Vancouver."

Found the bedroom and entrance room dark and in the basement. It did not look at all like the photos.

"We are visiting from Australia and this was a perfect place to stay for over a week. Lovely host who was so kind. The guesthouse is only a 5 min walk to a lovely restaurant and another 5 mins to centre of town yet it’s so peaceful. Room was very clean and comfortable with great aircon. A lounge area is available with tea/coffee, fridge and microwave. Lovely outdoor seating area. I highly recommend this beautiful guesthouse."

"We loved the location and the pool - the gardens were stunning and it has a really peaceful feel in a busy city. The staff were amazing and friendly - they were brilliant about our late check in and early check out and provided delicious food and cocktails. "Incredibly peaceful location, use of free bikes made exploring the surrounding area so fun including excellent restaurants nearby. Just the perfect place to relax outside of town. Lots of hammocks etc to pass the time in, but the room was also very comfortable."

"After being welcomed at the jetty we received a wet towel, tasty sandwiches and a refreshing drink. The staff was super friendly and we also liked the island, the room and the breakfast. We got water every day and beach towels."

The shower is open, so the bathroom gets wet every time you shower.

"Mohammad and Heba are great hosts! Communication in English is easy, and Heba provides most delicious traditional palestinian and jordanian food at dinner. Being on a hike without car, I strongly depended on their perfect organiziation of transfers. Sections of the Jordan Trail, and the holy mountain Tell Mar Elias are nearby and beautifully covered by flowers in spring. The guesthouse is conveniently located between the Ajloun Forest Reserve which is in hiking distance, and the old city of Ajloun with its magnificent castle. I had initially intended a short visit here, and finally stayed almost a week."

"Chambre spacieuse, cocooning, propre, fonctionnelle, tres bien equipée, bien située et au calme. Conforme aux photos et au descriptif. Bon petit dejeuner complet deposé devant la chambre. Pain et viennoiseries extra. Stationnement pratique devant le portail dans une impasse. Anne est reactive, chaleureuse, attentionnée et de bons conseils. À refaire aux beaux jours pour profiter des velos et de la sympathique petite terrasse☀️"

"The location is wonderful! The beautiful house where we rented a unit is right on the lake. The house is well-kept and beautiful. The weather was cold and a little foggy, which added to the atmosphere. In the summer, the residents walk 20 meters and are already in the lake, which invites swimming. The unit we got itself was quite small but sufficient. The breakfast was good. We stayed one night, but we would definitely go back there for a longer stay."

For me, having visited the Singapore tourism highlights on a previous visit, it was not an issue at all, but good to be aware that those highlights take a bit of time to get to. Also good to be aware you are welcomed into an actual home while the owners are living there. It's part of the charm.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. loved listening to her speak of her children. the love in her eye's that that shows for her children and moko's that live in Aotearoa when speaking of them. As well as her belated husband. Thank you so much for everything and opening up your home and making us feel like family I will always remember the aroha that you have shown us whilst our visit to Rarotonga. I wish you nothing but the best. I hope anyone that books your house respects and appreciates you and your beautiful whare/ house that you work hard to maintain. "As a genuine backpacker this stay was like in the good old days when it was quite normale to have contact with the owners of a guesthouse. As a bonus Helen had a great book about Bob Marley. Pity I couldn’t ready it all."
