The owner was so welcoming and shared the amazing story of how it was his great-great-grandfather who built it, such a cool piece of history. Google Maps has the precise location, but perhaps some signage at the property would be helpful as well. Saying that most people would be arriving by taxi if flying into Bissau so the taxi driver would know where to go.

Josie is the best host someone could ask for - she is very attentive to the guests and always prepared to help or to recommend places for maximising the experience of tourists. "There was much to like about our stay - the room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a good shower. The location - a short drive from the main Belle Mare beach and not too far from the main regional hub of Flacq (with its twice weekly market and also Super-U for those who prefer more modern facilities) - was good and the walk from the accommodation to the dining area through an abundance of local floral was a delight. But biggest praise must go to owners Roshan and Sang (and their son Kite) who were so warm and welcoming - they made each guest feel like a VIP, nothing was too much trouble for them and the food (breakfast and dinner) freshly prepared by Sang each day was varied but always delicious. We had a wonderful stay with no complaints whatsoever. Well, actually, just one - we never did get to see Roshan feeding the Dodo."

It would have been great to have had a fridge in the room

"I booked for a Night, but i stayed for one week. I really liked it. The best accomodations in Gambia. Very good price! Comfortable, big bed! AC and Van and big TV with netflix... and hot water. A shared kitchen is also there. The village is very authentic and many cute kids around. A few shops and a restaurant about 10min walking. Lamin was always available, friendly and helpful. Very spontanously he took me to the airport, i had some problems and he helped me there with everything and he was waiting the whole time to see if i am fine. Very good man! It was a comfortable, nice, stressfree ending of my travel there. Thank you so so much :D"

"The owner was lovely. The room had a sea view and the balcony was equipped with chairs, table and umbrella to enjoy some sea breeze even on a sunny day. Good parking space by the house, which is located short distance away from the buzz of the city promenade. Price is very reasonable for the high level of comfort, cleanness and friendly attitude. Our stay was so pleasant that after unexpectedly coming back to Ulcinj couple days after our first stay, we chose this accommodation again."

"사이프러스에서 가장 친절한 호스트. 비행기 타기 직전 전화해서 새벽 2시에 체크인 가능한지 물어봤습니다. 체크인하는 과정과 오는 방법을 사진과 함께 자세하게 알려줬습니다. 주문도 안했던 아침식사를 준비해줬고 아침에 우리 짐이 많은 걸 보고 차가 있냐고 물어봤습니다. 없다고 하니 버스터미널까지 데려다 줬습니다.(바쁜 와중에 선의로 한 거니 당연한 서비스로 생각하면 안 됩니다) 그의 아침 샌드위치를 먹기 위해 다시 갈 겁니다. 이 나라 최고의 핸드매이드 샌드위치! 에어컨은 다른 더 비싼 호텔보다 성능이 좋았습니다."

"Mohammad and Heba are great hosts! Communication in English is easy, and Heba provides most delicious traditional palestinian and jordanian food at dinner. Being on a hike without car, I strongly depended on their perfect organiziation of transfers. Sections of the Jordan Trail, and the holy mountain Tell Mar Elias are nearby and beautifully covered by flowers in spring. The guesthouse is conveniently located between the Ajloun Forest Reserve which is in hiking distance, and the old city of Ajloun with its magnificent castle. I had initially intended a short visit here, and finally stayed almost a week."

"We were originally going to stay at the main Thermal Hotel, but saw this and the rating and thought why not, and so glad we did! The property is next door and in the centre, and the host is amazing. Guy called me ahead of arrival to tell me about location / access etc, and was the perfect host when we arrived. He had even set up the room TV including Netflix to our language. The rooms were not only spotless but modern with an elegant touch. Would definitely recommend."

"아주 한적한 곳에 있는 숙소입니다. 섬안에 이 곳을 제외하면 다른 숙소는 없습니다. 제공해주는 식사는 식단이 다양하고, 절대 배고프지 않게 많이 줍니다. 최신식의 건물은 아니지만, 그것에서는 얻을 수 없는 목가적인 즐거움를 느낄 수 있습니다. 그리고 자전거를 빌려서 갈 수 있는 버팔로 비치에서 수영을 꼭 해보세요."

아쉽지만 아이들을 가르치는 봉사활동은 하기 쉽지않았습니다. 아이들이 아침에 공부하러 오는 걸 원하지 않아서, 아침 수업이 열리지 않는 것 같아요.

"The place is a pure perfection, one of the rare occassions where photos don't do the hotel justice. The cabanas are few and set in a beautiful green garden. Our cabana was beautifully decorated, there's a small kitchen with all necessary amnities, a bathroom with hot water, comfy bes and a terrace to relax on while waiting for a rain shower to pass ;) If you're a type of traveler who prefers tranquility, I urge you to stay on Carenero, while visiting Bocas del Toro. It's a short (1min, 1$) drive with a water taxi from Bocas Town and one will come to pick you up as soon as you set your foot on pier. The hotel is only 3min walk from the nearest pier."

It was perfect, by far the nicest place I've ever stayed in during my travels. Has a kind of a honeymoon vibe to it. I wish Booking offered a higher grade for places which exceed all others. 11/10 :)

"This property and the owners, are now our favorite in Martinique. We were welcomed after a long day of travel. The owners kindly left us fruit, coffee, juice and a baguette for breakfast with the local tasty guave jam. So thoughtful. The house provided good size rooms, very comfortable Caribbean chairs, nice large bed, and wonderful outdoor seating with lush greenery, meticulously cared for, outside. To sit and have coffee and watch hummingbirds and others, while we looked at many kinds of tropical flowers was a great experience daily. Everything we wanted and needed in the house was at our fingertips. So much Martinique charm! We highly recommend to anyone visiting Martinique. And a short drive to the beaches, Jardin Balata, and top things to see on the island."

"Very good location, close to the city beach , 5 min on foot. There is a pool on property which is very practical when it is hot during the day and you do not feel like walking to the beach. An outdoor kitchen is available, there is a gas stove, BBQ place etc, very useful for people wanting to cook. The apartment is clean, spacious and right for our group. The hosts are extremely nice people, ready to help when needed. I would definitely recommend this place to travellers! Thank you Safar guest house!"
