For me, having visited the Singapore tourism highlights on a previous visit, it was not an issue at all, but good to be aware that those highlights take a bit of time to get to. Also good to be aware you are welcomed into an actual home while the owners are living there. It's part of the charm.

The owner was so welcoming and shared the amazing story of how it was his great-great-grandfather who built it, such a cool piece of history. I also got to go up to the roof, which had a beautiful view overlooking the city and the neighborhood. Definitely made the stay extra special"

"That’s amazing studio flat in a very nice hotel. It is sad that is sharing apartment, but you don’t share anything. You have your private bathroom, washing machine, private kitchen, private balcony, the only thing you share is one door to get to your flat. There are food shops and restaurants all around. Tram and bus stops very close. Metro station is about 1 km away, but you can take tram to get there, it takes two stops. Apartment was clean, nice clean white sheets, clean good towel, shampoo and hair conditioner. Security downstairs so you feel absolutely safe. Location is good for taking a walk by the marina to see yachts and a wonderful view to all buildings around. Wi-fi was good."

There is nothing in the kitchen, no spoons, no forks, no cups, no plates, absolutely empty. I had to buy a cup just to make coffee. Had to wait host for 1,5 hour. The main things to see are far away from the property, you need to take metro and ride 10-15 stops to see burj khalifa, the frame, future museum and ect. At least it’s one line. There was bad smell in the kitchen (can’t understand where it was coming from) had to keep balcony’s door open all the time. Very noisy street outside, cars and trams traffic all the time.

"Very good location, close to the city beach , 5 min on foot. There is a pool on property which is very practical when it is hot during the day and you do not feel like walking to the beach. An outdoor kitchen is available, there is a gas stove, BBQ place etc, very useful for people wanting to cook. The apartment is clean, spacious and right for our group. The hosts are extremely nice people, ready to help when needed. I would definitely recommend this place to travellers! Thank you Safar guest house!"

"On arrival we were met at the door by a chap called Wim who was extremely friendly and helpful. He also provided some awesome tips and information for visiting Brugge. The hotel is located only a 2 minute walk from the central square and I highly recommend this tiny little gem of a hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Brugge."

"아주 한적한 곳에 있는 숙소입니다. 섬안에 이 곳을 제외하면 다른 숙소는 없습니다. 제공해주는 식사는 식단이 다양하고, 절대 배고프지 않게 많이 줍니다. 최신식의 건물은 아니지만, 그것에서는 얻을 수 없는 목가적인 즐거움를 느낄 수 있습니다. 그리고 자전거를 빌려서 갈 수 있는 버팔로 비치에서 수영을 꼭 해보세요."

아쉽지만 아이들을 가르치는 봉사활동은 하기 쉽지않았습니다. 아이들이 아침에 공부하러 오는 걸 원하지 않아서, 아침 수업이 열리지 않는 것 같아요.

"Everything was amazing, from each and every point of view. It's the type of accommodation you'd chose again and again. Josie is the best host someone could ask for - she is very attentive to the guests and always prepared to help or to recommend places for maximising the experience of tourists. The place overall and the room were not only super clean and comfortable (I literally slept like a baby, haha), but equipped with all the necessary things for a great stay. Leider wurde das Dach neu gedeckt ,dadurch war es sehr laut am Tag . Dies ist das Einzige Manko hatte man bei der Buchung angegeben werden können-

"We were greeted by very friendly staff who showed us around. There was private parking under a carport with a gate, which was great. The shower had endless hot water without messing around with a boiler; quite rare in Bosnia! A 2 minute walk away was a small shop with essentials."

The bed wasn't very comfortable. The matress is very hard and the bed is noisy with every movement. Unfortunately, we didn't have a good sleep because of this.
