"Room was split level apartment in Park Plaza. Steep stairs to bedroom may be challenging for some. Otherwise room was modern and well equipped. It was quiet whilst we stayed (Sept 25) but the corridors have hard surfaces and I expect could be noisy if busy.Ample room on roofs for solar power- the dark corridors could benefit from more lighting even during daytime."

"We visited 2nd week in Sept when children were at school. It was around 25 deg, busy enough to have atmosphere but not overcrowded: for example, there was never any problem finding sun beds in good positions. The pool was a good size, salt water, The bars, restaurants and shops onsite were extremely handy. We booked a premium double with sea view which was roomy and had a terrific sea view from our balcony. There's a lovely walk around Verdula peninsula and another down to the marina. Bus stop 2 hundred yards away which was cheap (2 euros to Pula Old Town another 8 to Rovinj) that ran every 20 mins. Taxi to Pula was 20 euros."

"On the whole the apartment was fabulous, but there were a few minor issues. The one big problem was the staircase in our Premium double apartment with sea view. There are different configurations for these apartments and we got one split over 2 floors. That's great but there's a steep L shaped staircase with narrow treads and it's painted with shinny gloss. I'm 66 and getting myself and cases up and down needed to be tackled with extreme care. I'd recommend booking the Premium double but contacting the hotel at booking time if you aren't too sure footed and asking for a single storey version. The kitchette is very handy but there's no oven so not really suitable for cooking main meals. There's also no draining board or kitchen towel so I'd pack one. I don't know if it was just our apartment, but the toilet had a lock but no key in it."

"We loved the place - it is sort of small town with pretty much everything you need. It has small shops, couple restaurants (most of them good ones), a lot of sports available, beautiful aquarium to visit etc."

"The beaches around are OK but not the top. They are kind of smaller with stones (not so pleasant as send). The pool is great but it is hard to find a spot sometimes (even in the first week of September)."
