"A peaceful location when staying here in October overlooking the sea with no traffic noise or music from bars for travellers who want to explore Makarska without the crowds. A 15-minute walk from the bus terminal and walking the promenade is suitable for all ages. As the promenade is tree lined, seaviews may be obstructed, but I was lucky to have a room with a gap in the trees. The breakfast options are ample and delicious."

"Just be careful in the shower as it's slightly slippery, but other than that, I highly recommend Maritimo Hotel."

"Clean, comfortable, waterfront location, seaview, excellent breakfast & restaurant for dinner (very reasonable price before guests discount), one night stay mid September 2025, reception & wait staff were excellent & attentive."

"Free Parking needs reservation at time of booking which was not a question we were asked through this booking platform, other than prompt for arrival time. No big deal, was 10 euro for overnight parking at a spot only 300m away & we were able to check in whilst we were in garage & then park. Note: follow signs to get to basement garage by car."

"Super 👌 Everything was great – the staff, the comfort, the restaurant, and the food. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the sea. There was also parking, which we reserved in advance, and they kindly kept a spot for us – we really appreciated that."

"Bar could have been open longer in the evenings. 10 o'clock is really early for a holiday resort. This seemed to be the norm in all hotels and restaurants along from the hotel."

"This is the most amazing hotel. Me and a friend stayed in Vis for three nights and felt as if we could have stayed for longer. The hotel was beautiful. We stayed in room 10 which is not part of the main hotel but instead part of two rooms outside and was the perfect stay. There was a seat outside the rooms great for sitting in the evenings. The courtyard is a wonderful and picturesque place to have breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, the breakfast has a wide variety of dishes and the eggs were phenomenal. The staff are so friendly and could not do enough for you throughout your stay, including carrying our very heavy cases up the stairs. The courtyard is also a beautiful place to sit in the evening and have a drink. I sadly did not book the restaurant so cannot review that but would recommend as it looked very appetising. The room itself was big, with a great bathroom and great shower. The bed was very comfortable and the views from the room are amazing."

"The hotel is beautifully located on the sunny side of the Punta peninsula in Umag, offering beautiful sea views from many rooms and the pool. We had a room that overlooked both the beach and the hotel; it was spacious and cozy, and offered everything we needed for our short one-night stay. The staff were professional and attentive. Additionally, there were enough parking spaces in front of the hotel. We really enjoyed the promenade leading to the town center and Stella Maris, and we also enjoyed the breakfast, which offered a wide variety of choices. All in all, it was a good price-to-performance ratio."
