Hótel Bifröst

"아이슬란드에 묵었던 방 중에 가장 컸어요. 실내가 여유로우면서도 냉장고, 옷장, 전기포트 등이 잘 갖춰져 있었습니다. 엘리베이터가 있어 캐리어 옮기기에도 수월해요. 호텔에 저희 둘만 혼자 묵었던 밤이었는데 조식도 부족함 없이 아주 잘 준비해주셔서 기분 좋게 식사할 수 있었습니다."

"주차도 편하고~방이 넓고~편안했다. 차로 3분거리에 9홀짜리 골프장이 있는데~ 골프를 하고저 하는 분은 매우 좋아할 것 같다. 9홀 1명이 하면 4만원(4천ISK) 2명이 하면 6만원(6만ISK)"

"A smooth, fuss-free stay. Check-in was simple, the room was clean and comfortable, and everything worked as expected. Exactly what you want when you’ve been on the road all day. We were only there for one night, so didn't really have a choice to explore the other amenities the hotel offered."

"We got there after it started getting dark so wasn't immediately obvious where the entrance was or if where we had parked was the correct place to leave the car for the evening. The most minor of nit-picks!"

"Everything was fine, the best breakfast we've had in Iceland. A fridge and electric keetle in the room were great to have."

"Some breakfast items were missing on the second day, even though the place was not overcrowded. Still it was fine enough."

"During a 12 day drive around Iceland, we stayed in about 10 guesthouses and hotels. They were all expensive and the standards varied enormously. Shared bathrooms, rooms barely large enough to move, landladies who made us feel 10 years old etc :-) I received requests to leave feedback from each one but I'm doing this for just three. From outside, the hotel Bifrost looked a bit gloomy, though my wife remarked that the black stone blended in with the lava rock. Once inside, I realised that finally we were in a proper hotel. What bliss! The best hotel during our trip! The room was large, ensuite functional, bed comfy, restaurant excellent. Okay, very expensive but by then we'd realised that everything in Iceland was expensive. Our dinner was first class cuisine!"

"We don't usually worry about the TV but it's nice to watch the news occasionally. Our TV didn't work and I discovered that the antenna cable was hidden behind the heavy sideboard and wasn't plugged into the wall socket. Fixed very easily. Also, they could have more channels. Most were from the UK."

"Practical place to stay. Comfortable VERY good restaurant, the fish and chips is extremely well cooked and other plates are very tasty as well. Probably the best thing about the hotel is its restaurant. Breakfast is a bit simple yet tasty and filling."

"Area around the hotel looks a bit dishevelled so the first impression is a bit disappointing. They stop refilling the breakfast area once time is getting closer to stopping giving breakfast so I could see some latecomers (although they were on time) simply being left with very little choice. If it’s still 20 mins before you’re stopping serving breakfast you should ensure everyone has the full choice."
