And the beautifully developed historical site at Þrístapar with dramatic short trail and audio tour is only a short drive away. Unlike many places you stay in Iceland you’ll probably get to meet the owner, in this case the lovely Olga who is renovating this old farmhouse."

"Comfortable large room. Large dining kitchen with sea views if weather the were better. Comfortable lounge too. Much better than the place that I stayed in opposite Hvitserkur last year."
