Tenute Al Bano

"Beautiful hotel, very traditional and quite rustic. The rooms are all built into the old buildings and each one is unique. We were there as part of a wedding group but did eat in the on site restaurant the first night which was excellent. Their own wine is gorgeous and very good value for money. Excellent choice at breakfast and staff very welcoming. Pool was great and plenty of sunbeds and shady spots. Lovely grounds. Would definitely return. Easy to get cold drinks and snacks either from the pool bar or onsite vending machines."

"The wine bar closes at 8.30 which seems a bit of an odd time. A kettle and refreshments in the rooms would go a long way!"

"Came to this hotel as I have loved Albano Carrisi's songs since childhood. The duet of Albano Carrisi and Romina Power is for me a symbol of kindness, love, humanity. Wonderful hotel. We rented two double rooms with a friend. We were accommodated in Villa Yolanda. The rooms are very cosy, with original design. Each room has its own name. I lived in the room Cellina. Romantic atmosphere, beautiful territory. Clean air. Birds sing at dawn. I slept with the windows open. There is a chapel, a large swimming pool. On the territory of the hotel there is an enoteca and a shop where you can buy wines, olive oil produced in the Albano Carrisi estate, and souvenirs. Albano songs are played in the restaurant. Polite and attentive staff. Thanks to Vito for the tour of the property! Will definitely return to Tenute Albano. I had a wonderful holiday. Thank you Albano for this oasis of happiness, warmth and harmony!"

"The whole place is unique!! It is in the middle of nothing so to speak, but then again a vineyard of that size cannot be in the heart of a town. Pool area was closed as we visited in April. Restaurant was superb with live music Friday night. very rustic and enchanting place! Had great walks around this huge park."

"Restaurant opens at 20.15 which for Nordic visitors is kind of late.. although quality and quantity of food is worth the wait. menu could be slightly wider..."

"A very peaceful place. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the breakfast, especially considering it was low season. Plenty of parking available as well. The rooms were also large with the country style."

"It is very difficult to find something we did not like. I did notice that some other people wrote sone negative reviews because of the rather small choices on the menu... But there are also lots of fresh daily specials - not mentioned on the menu - which the extremely friendly staff is more than happy to inform you about."

"The rooms are very clean and spacious. The staff were all very friendly and helpful..we had a very late check in and it cost us €50 but it's acceptable as it we checked in at 2.00am and was supposed not later than 11pm..we found the place very peaceful and the pool is huge and clean.We will stay there another time for sure."
