"The best part of our experience was arriving slightly before the regular entry time. We were exhausted from traveling, and the thought of waiting around for half an hour with no chairs was discouraging. Fortunately I found a couple of delightful housekeepers, who let us into the room and then at 3:00 came to tell us to go downstairs to check in. If I hadn't been told elsewhere that leaving tips in Japan was considered insulting, I'd have given them a big one."
"The only real negative was the check-in process. The tablet on the table at the entry was very difficult to use because the button had to be pushed so hard to make it work. I don't understand why we had to take photos of our faces and our passports there and then, with so much button pushing, instead of doing it online at home."
