"The hosts were extremely kind. It’s not necessarily mentioned, but they offer you breakfast in the morning and it’s incredibly generous. My room was clean, there was hot water, the sheets smelled good, there were no insects, and I felt very comfortable. Overall, it’s an excellent value for the price."

"Excellent luxurious clean accommodation Mahinda the butler, couldn’t do enough for us. Very attentive and we enjoyed chatting with him about real Sri Lankan life. The dog was a boon - so friendly and protective of us! All staff were friendly and helpful Food was well cooked and delicious"

"The couple that run this place is so lovely and welcomed us with tea on arrival! Bathroom has an amazing hot water shower - the warmest we had in Sri Lanka. So nice after a day outdoors. Location is absolutely perfect, it’s just a tiny bit out of town centre so it’s more quiet, but it’s right next to an amazing cafe (umbrella cafe) and amazing massage place - definitely try both. Also right next to the trail for Nine Arch bridge walk - amazing"

"Very nice place in Ella. Just a little 3 min walk from city’s centre you are in a very calm spot in the middle of the jungle. Room en bathroom is nice, comfortable and clean. Every morning they prepare very tasteful breakfast which is more than enough to start your day. Because you are surrounded by trees we could see monkeys during breakfast. The people who are working there are very kind and helpful. They helped arranging transport to different activities and it was possible to wash our clothes here. Definitely would recommend this place if you want a calm place which is still very close to the city’s centre."
