"I was looking for a budget accommodation to stay for a day in Negombo and I accidentally stumbled on this property, the hosts are very sweet and helped us with everything , they even let my friends stay with me for few hours for no extra charges , the beach is a stone throw away , and the neighborhood is also pretty quite and rooted , I had a comfortable sleep and the bathrooms are well maintained. Worth the money."

"The hospitality was super. We checked-in at 4.30 am because of the flight and the host was waiting for us. The room was clean and comfortable. We ate a great and abundant Sri Lankan breakfast. They also let us parking our rent tuk Tuk in their courtyard. Awesome experience."

"This stay was my first 1.5 days in Sri Lanka after a very delayed flight. The hosts were incredibly friendly and were very helpful with local knowledge. The location of Mama Beach Villa is central to most of Negombo but set on a wonderfully quiet street with a beautiful lush garden. The perfect place to adjust to the warm weather and catch up on sleep. A comfortable bed and very tidy and clean."

"We had such a good, memorable time here. Taken very well care of by Manju (the owner), we enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the wild, off the beaten track, with beautiful nature all around us. The food was delicious and filling, vegetarian and vegan diets catered for completely. They lit us a fire one night and we enjoyed dinners by candlelight every night. The beds were super comfy and the large hut that we stayed in was very spacious - good for all bags and clothes. Manju organised our safari day and our trip to a local beach. He was ready to meet our every need and was very kind and friendly with our children too."
