"아침식사는 하푸텔라 기차 시간 8시30분 떄문에 샌드위치 포장으로 사모님께서 준비 해주셔서 기차에서 아침을 했습니다 분위기는 가정집 분위기 입니다 1층 2층으로 되어 있습니다 위치는 캔디 제일 산위에 위치하고 있습니다 시내에서 툭툭으로 max 500루피 (1500원) 나옵니다 저는 2년전 저 혼자 이숙소 2층에 숙박을 하고 뷰가 좋아서 다시 제 와이프와 2층숙소에서 숙박을 했습니다 이 숙소 사장님 이신분이 의사인데요 자제분들이 모두 미국 호주에 사시고 사모님과 두분이서 이곳을 운영 하시는거 같아요 항상 오래 건강 하셨으면 합니다"

"숙소가 캔디 언덕 꼭대기에 있기에 위치합니다 저는 좋았는데 다른 분들은 몰라서요 에어콘은 없어요 냉장고는 식당 주인집 냉장고 사용합니다 숙소에서 5분 10분 내 시내 툭툭 이로 다녀 올수 있어요 사장님 사모님에게 말씀하시면 바로 툭툭이 불러 주십니다 걱정 마세요"

"방이 크고 정말 깔끔했어요. 공용 공간도 예쁘게 꾸며놓으셔서 지내는 내내 편안했습니다. 마당이 초록초록하게 예뻐서 정글 속에 들어와 있는 느낌이었어요. 무엇보다 호스트 부부 두 분이 너무 친절하셔서 기억에 남습니다. 항상 웃으며 대해주시고 저희를 아들 딸 처럼 대해 주셔서 감사했습니다. 여행 관련해서도 도움을 많이 주시고 스리랑카에서 묵었던 숙소 중에 최고의 호스트였어요! 다음에 꼭 다시 방문하고 싶어요."

"캔디 시내까지 거리가 조금 있지만 호스트 분께서 툭툭을 불러 주셔서 문제 없이 다녔어요. 툭툭 타면 10분 이내로 이동 가능합니다. 오히려 번잡한 캔디 시내로부터 떨어져 있어서 더 조용하게 잘 묵었어요."

"아쉬운 점은 딱히 없습니다 만 스리랑카 대부분이 냉장고가 없습니다 그래서 맥주 사다가 숙박 사장님 냉장고에 넣어두고 마셨습니다 시원한 음료가 필요하면 숙박 사장님 냉장고 마음대로 이용 가능합니다 캔디 지역이 숙박 업소가 모두 산위 에 있습니다 툭툭 타고 기차역에서 숙소까지 200루피-300루피 정도(800원-1200원) 5분 거리입니다 기차역에서 멀리 갈수록 경관이 좋아요"

"Mount Haven is an excellent place to stay. The property is amazing with great bedrooms and amazing views. It is extremely well maintained and the owners are very polite and courteous. Location is a little tricky to reach to but Google Maps came in very handy. Overall we enjoyed our stay here. Thank You."

"The rooms are in a huge family house on top of the mountain. We lived in a room on the second floor. The apartment itself is a bit further away from the city center, which was great for us as it is further away from all of the noise and chaos which Kandy brings. As well as the tuktuk costs only 400-500 rupees from the city. So, it didn’t cause any discomfort. The room itself was clean and had lovely views to the nature. Hosts were really sweet and gave us great recommendations. We also had great breakfast here. The selection might look smaller compared to other stays, but that was just enough for us to feel full and start the day. If needed, the host could easily arrange the ride to Nuwara Eliya, however, we’ve got the ride on our own."

"Terrific value. The room we stayed in was large with a beautiful balcony. Dr Nimal and his family are charming hosts keen for you to enjoy your stay and get the most from Kandy. We turned up with a driver and Dr Nimal organised a room for him too which we appreciated. We were supplied with a good fan and mosquito netting and had no problems and slept very well. The house is fascinating and perched high up in the suburbs of Kandy. Nice breakfasts too - lovely homemade rotis, for example. Overall we loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it."

"I have stayed with Nimal and Lanka several times before (and so has my daughter, separately, in 2025). Always welcoming, helpful, chatty but never intrusive. They are well travelled and simply enjoy the pleasure of hosting. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. And it's very good value too."
